I love this Delta Sky Club in the Honolulu airport! They have amazing Hawaiian food, drinks, and service. I purposely scheduled a longer layover in the Honolulu airport on my return to Detroit from Hilo so I could spend more time in this delightful Sky Club.
FOOD - Food includes Hawaiian meats and rice, fresh fruit, veggies, ham and cheese sandwiches, cold cuts, cheeses, soup, and my favorite...a shave ice machine (flavors were passion fruit, Blue Hawaiian, and Hawaiian Punch, but they may change). They have Maui Onion chips (wish they had just regular flavor). There is a small freezer with mochi. I wish they had other frozen dessert options in the freezer as I'm not a fan of mochi. Sometimes they come around with a dessert and drinks cart. Last time, I was served a custard dessert and guava champaign. I was there during breakfast, but I was sad that they didn't serve Loco Moco or Hawaiian pancakes, so that is an area for improvement. Most times they give you a chocolate covered macadamia nut on your way out.
DRINKS - Their bartenders are very friendly and ready to serve you tasty drinks, including a Mai Tai or Blue Hawaiian in a cool tiki glass, local Hawaiian beer on draft, wine, or mixed drinks with a few complimentary choices. Non-alcoholic drinks include Coca-Cola fountain drinks, a coffee machine with various options, lemonade, unsweetened tea, various hot teas, hot chocolate, and water.
SEATING / TVs / BUSINESS AREA - There are a few different seating areas, including some with comfy chairs and plugs for charging your phone and other electronics, two-person tables and chairs for eating, and a desk area with a free printer. Enjoy the complimentary WiFi. There are two tv areas. While I was there, they happened to be showing the LPGA Dana Open golf tournament that is played literally 5 minutes from my house in Sylvania, OH, so that was cool to see.
RESTROOMS - They have a men's and women's restroom in the Sky Club, but they are very small. When I was there this last time the urinal was broken so there was only one stall available so there was typically a wait. There is only one sink so it gets cramped in there really quick. The bathroom situation could be better.
EXTRA - They have a cool service at the front desk where you can send a free postcard from Hawaii to whoever you want. I really liked this idea so I sent it to my family when I arrived thinking they would get the postcard while I was gone. The unfortunate part was that I stayed in Hawaii for a week, but I still beat the postcard and arrived home first.
OVERALL - Make sure you check out this wonderful Delta Sky Club! And if you have a layover in the Honolulu airport, plan early and give yourself some extra layover time to really enjoy...
Read moreThis is the worst Delta club in US by far. I did purchase a delta ticket from LA to Atlanta and a first class from Honolulu to LA. The Hawaiian airline lounge is closed at 7 PM and I have to use Delta Sky club instead. The lady in the front office is very rude by saying I can’t let you in since you don’t have a delta flight from Honolulu. I showed her the policy in Delta website saying that there is no requirement on the airport itself as long as you have a delta flight and boarding pass. The lady just simply ignored me even without looking at the delta website policy and said I am the policy. Are you kidding me? Then I called Delta customer service and Delta customer service even felt shocked the way the lady treated me. Delta customer service asked me to give the phone to that lady and that lady feels upset, tried really hard to pull his supervisor who even refused the delta customer service to wear her employee with similar rude attitude. The delta customer service has to raise it to management team and apologize to me about the awful...
Read moreThis is the most amazing Sky Club I have ever been at. The food has a decidedly island theme. There is a mochi freezer for the taking. The drink counter is most amazing with full service including sparkling wine, many tropical mixed drinks properly made like a commercial bar, served in proper glassware, with umbrellas and all and brought to your table. We were there for six hours due to arriving from Kauai on an earlier flight than the one we booked for and our departing flight to Minneapolis was delayed. Many staff stopped to see if we needed anything because of our extended time there. The lovely Lele was especially attentive and brought my wife a virgin Piña Colada. It was so tasty. There is a very good vibe and attitude amongst the staff that is obvious. Lele was not the only one. Many of the other ladies were wonderful. There is more service at this Sky Club than anywhere else I know. The other nice lady (her name tag says something g like “Twaina”?) was also kind and attentive. Great job. A joy to be there. Real...
