GameStop — Attraction in Honolulu

My visit on November 2, 2024 was concerning. There is an employee of darker complexion who was talking to us in a very rude manner when we asked for help. We haven’t been ever treated this way walking to any GameStop before. Some of the comments he made caught us off guard and thought he had some personal or health issues. We ignored it at first but still couldn’t believe it after it happened.

He then walked over to the other employee at the counter and he started whispering and looking at us and laughing. Keep in mind my wife and I already felt very uncomfortable and shocked after the first event and then creepily looks at us and laughs as we were browsing the store. I don’t know how long this guy has been working here, but nothing but bad vibes flowing thru this man. The other employee was fine and we have no complaints about him as you can tell he felt uncomfortable with his colleagues jokes as well.

As we exited the store, he glared at us and turned around and started laughing again. We left that store feeling very uneasy, literally ruining our mood for the whole weekend. If anyone else recently visited this store and has a story about this man, please speak up. We are wishing we asked the other employee what his name was so we could take this up...

It was 1998 in LA, where we would burn CD's (compact disks) for our Play Station, with the mod chip. Buy, return, buy, return.

As much as we borrowed from GameStop, it remains. Bravo.

a staple of mall life and even if everything is on the cloud and or Amazon, I need to see GameSpot, like my daughter needs her security blanket.

And why am I even writing this review? I haven't even been in there. My butt just happened to graze the aura of awesomeness when I walked by and Google gave me the nod. Maybe even Q was involved. Who knows.

"Keep this place going" they said. You are all I got left GameStop. You keep me and the mall grounded.

This Gamestop is probably the best one on the island of Oahu. Everytime I go in the workers are extremely helpful and nice. I think his name is Shane. Super helpful and informative guy. The best thing is there never pushy like some stores where the salesman try to constantly irritate you. But this gamestop is a definite 5 stars. If they don't have what you want then they will try to see what they can do to remedy...
