Walked in while we were shopping up and down the street after brunch today. We realized when we walked in it was a Goodwill Boutique store. Ok, that’s fine. We will still look around. Levi’s cotton jacket $59.99. Prana flannel button up, $69.99. The final straw was seeing a used Starbucks mug (there were three) all priced for $9.99. Excuse me? These are used Starbucks mugs. Why are we doing this Goodwill? I saw a few wool jackets that I liked. They were all over $130! Who is pricing this store? I get you want to get more money for brand name items, but this was obscene. I wallet purse has a missing clasp and it was still $30?! Some cheap rhinestone jewelry was $30. We heard the one other shopper in there comping as well about the prices. So three customers total in there and four employees. Why the over staffing? This has to stop. This stuff was DONATED to the Goodwill. I’m so over the inflation costs hitting thrift stores. How about lowering the salary for the CEO for once? We walked out of there disgusted and felt dirty for even going in. Oh and “Robyn” who gave a glowing review below, tell me you work there or have a friend who does…because no one else would say these are good...

And as far as not finding any bargains (as a previous reviewer remarked), let me say this. I bought a like-new Coach (not a knock off) bag for $39 (retail value when new is over $200). Dooney & Burke, Wilson Leather, Kate Spade, and many other brands can be found there. Another fun fact: The EXACT model of Coach bag I'd bought in Vegas for $300, brand new,a few years before was hanging on the rack last week. It was in great shape (Coach bags are wonderful for this reason:. they last), and I went nuts for the price tag of $39! Yes, it was previously owned, but you'd never know it. I also got a Wilson Leather bag with the tags still on it for a low price as well. I felt like I'd found the Holy Grail of purse shops!
Obscure or out of manufacture chinaware shows up here, artwork, SHOES (Sorel, Born, etc.), Boots (great selection of amazing Western wear, too) and jewelry. Antiques, unique furniture pieces, lamps, books, costumes, cookware (LeCreuset,...
Read moreI'm sorry, maybe this will seem harsh because I had a terrible day today. I live in a rural area and need new clothes for work, so drove all the way out here for the day to find some Goodwill items. I have never been to this Goodwill, so didnt know what it was. This place was ridiculously overpriced, like name brand, new retail. You should be ashamed to call yourself a Goowill when you're asking for such prices. If you want to be a "boutique" then just be a boutique, but don't trick people into coming to your store because they're looking for something you don't offer. If you're someone who actually needs clothes from a Goodwill, don't bother. Additionally, when I tried street parking right by the store, the parking meter wasn't working. I couldn't get it to take either coins or a card. Almost every street here is pay to park now, so I had to walk for like 10 minutes to get there from a parking spot I could actually use, and then walk back uphill (empty handed of course thanks to the ridiculous prices) in 90 some...
