Fine jewelery and diamonds: I was harassed and discriminated today in the store by a “23 year long” employee, Kadijah. brought to tears and wrongfully denied a return within the date and tags because “she didn’t want to lose her sales marks for the store because it will hurt the store!” I told that woman I know my rights she tried to disrminate on my age , thinking I don’t know them. As a salesman myself, jc penny fine jewelry associates are not honest people NEVER buy fine jewelry here. Ever. I have a recording of a minute long of me showing the receipt with the date and her saying “well lots of things change ma’m” mind you this is the 2nd time they told me to come in to return them because the first time their systems were down. The GM of the store knew my rights and presented it as “them honoring this one for me this time” as if it was a favor of some sort, again, this happened in the moment and I broke down crying being left on the spot. The manager said hey you were right your entitled to return but can you PLEAASSEEEE wait until the 31st because “between you and I it’ll just be a big hit for our store to return during this time we are having a sale (they always are) and she said that’ll count against our store- me being the 26 year year old fair girl who can’t say no to someone kind, the GM was kind but that was a completely unprofessional and very telling insight and question she asked me. No wonder jc penny is closing stores and bankrupt. I’ll be taking this to corporate. I try to be nice and give everyone the benefit of the doubt but bottom line, I had 5 rings, I came in to return 2. I was going to keep over 4,500$ of the fine jewelry I really liked. But the sales associate has tainted the gems and I want nothing to do with that scam artist . It leaves me really upset because I spent months and days on days narrowing down my choices as I’m a personal stylist and planned on keeping and passing down these rings for a lifetime: now, they might as well be trash.
: SCAM WARNING: SHE IS A SALES ASSOCIATE, key word salesman. There is no kindness in her smile. She has glossed her lies perfectly and trimmed them to look like beautiful roses (Trust me from one salesman to another this is common practice sadly soulless humans)
SHE EVEN WILL TRY TO PUSH THE DAMAGED DIAMONDS TO SELL YOU FIRST, she WILL LIE AND TELL YOU ITS “Just your eyes, it’s due to the shape! All are the same, which as someone ironically who worked in fine jewelry myself, we all know no diamond is the same. When I simply asked for a different one to purchase of the same one, she refused to show me it, until I told the GM. And they were scrambling to keep their sale. Who showed me the other ring identical but: sure enough the clarity of it was 100% better agreed by every single one of those ladies other than the “I’ve been here 23 years I know everything” ego maniac. So just for some info. Go literally anywhere but here. Sadly I left with my entire day ruined covered in anxiety and depression and all the happiness from the 2 I had picked out gone, meaning I really liked the item but after how I was treated that’s the memory forever associated with the rings, jc penny was only getting 2 rings returned but now they are getting all 5. 2 was only 5k , now they just lost another 5k for the other 3 rings (I spent near 11k total) for all wondering how they treat high paying customers as well.
I agreed without wanting to being put on the spot by the nice GM to return later for their stores sake because she personally played the pleasseee puppy dog eyes game so well. I’m a human being and agreed without actually thinking about what this woman was asking of a HIGH PAYING CUSTOMER. absolutely never. Will be calling corporate as I was put on the spot and all of this is SO unethical . Read moreI had ordered an item online through the JCP app. The item arrived, and I decided to use curbside pickup. The app indicated the store would be opened until 10 PM on Friday, and so did Google Maps (see pictures), so I decided to drive to the store to get my purchase.
Using the app, I searched for directions to the curbside pickup location. The directions were all wrong, and I kept being directed to the Macy's location. Can you believe that the JCP app is sending me to Macy's?
I kept driving and driving looking for the JCP curbside location, and I even tried the phone number on the app, which had a recorded message indicating to follow the directions given by the app. Completely useless.
Finally I called another number for JCP, and I was told that their curbside pickup location is on the second floor of the parking garage (no directions at all and I could not have guessed that it would be there), but they had closed at 9 PM (it was 9:01 PM). I explained to the person that their app was giving incorrect instructions and had incorrect closing time, and all she said "oh, ok". So I wasted my time going to the store, and not even an apology.

Read moreJust a typical shop day for me and my lil 4 months old baby girl I pick up a few things for the family as i appleseed to check out with cashier my baby girl started crying so I started to take care of her while the clerk was ringing me up as i reach for her bottle to settled her into her stroller the cashier told me to take my debit card out of the card reading machine as i finish checking out I was walking away when i heard her tell a Co work that a ugly baby i was shocked and I couldn’t believe I mediately went to my car to get my baby settled down put up my bags and came back in to report her i asked to speak to a manager I spoke to Lajuana i explain to her my situation and my concern and being that I’m a faithful customer and I always shop there me and my husband wedding rings came from there and i never had a bad experience until now but luckily she was understanding she apologized to me multiple times and she handled the situation very well I won’t let one bad apple stop me from shopping there but i let her know who was the cashier and she was very consistent and concern thank you Lajuana we need more people like her in this world Store...
