Food: ❌ OVERPRICED Service: 👍🏽 Atmosphere: 👍🏽 Decided to take a break during a slow Astros work day. We were hungry and looking forward to finally giving COBO’s a shot after passing it by since they opened. We were pretty shocked to see some OVERPRICED items for simple dishes, cases of beer exposed by the front door, but figured “Maybe it’s about the quality!” Sadly, we were WRONG. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla which came with no sides, such as lettuce, pico, or sour cream. We could not believe they used BASIC STORE BOUGHT tortillas! Although the food came out fresh/hot, service was good, salsa good, $15-$16 for a BASIC QUESADILLA is NOT WORTH IT.. I won’t discriminate against other food items since we did not try them, but STAY AWAY FROM THE CHICKEN/BEEF Quesadilla. Do NOT let the photos of the trays deceive you. They are SMALLER in person. Therefore, it makes the quesadillas appear “larger” in photos. Go to Taco Eliza food truck down St. Emanuel St. in walking distance: Thicker, traditional-like tortillas and quesadillas WITH standard SIDES, for $8 - $9 We will come back to drink at COBO’s for the atmosphere…MAYBE give the $16 wings (w/ fries) a chance…but that’s about it! 😬

I love coming Here when I visit Houston. Today I was lucky to get in before the dinner rush. I brought a co worker, service was wonderful- but the food was better! The brisket quesadillas…”when it touched my mouth I could taste the smoke, 5 fingers smackin”. That’s the official review from my buddy. We shared an order wings with the house sauce. Those were amazing. “The crunch on them jawns were something else” also official statement. I had a slice of homies bacon cheese burger. That was phenomenal. “I wish I didn’t share any of that burger”. Burger connoisseur review. I’ll be back. For sure. If you can stop by for a beer and bite before a game or after work please do. Shit is real good. 🤘🏽

Came for mimosas and the chilaquiles and ended up with mimosas and the chicken wings (crunchy, juicy and perfectly sauced) and waffles with the bourbon syrup; added on the pork belly- AMAZING. My boyfriend got the brisket monte cristo with raspberry preserves sauce and fresh roasted jalapeños 👀- sweet and savory taste was delicious- I really think he choose this for the fries: also seasoned very well, definitely needed a girlfriend portion. Next time- the chilaquiles! Love the atmosphere, very houston-esque, perfect for game times and Sunday fundays! Also, the staff is GREAT, very attentive and friendly.

The Hype is NOT Worth it!

My husband was very excited to try this place so we drove more than 30mins out of our way. We wanted to try the birria tacos but upon arriving they were not available. (It would be helpful for it to be listed somewhere on your website that the birria tacos aren't always available or when they will be) anyway since we were there we decided to try the Brisket Sandwich and the Brisket Mac Quesadilla.

The Brisket-Mac-Quesadilla was NOT good. It was just Brisket with maybe Velveeta cheese with elbow macaroni. There was nothing special about the Mac and cheese it was very bland and the Brisket was just OK. Didn't have much flavor. It was so disappointing we couldn't even finish it. Considering how much we paid for the dish.

The Brisket Sandwich was just OK. The Brisket was tender but we could have done without the BBQ sauce. Neither of us liked it.

Sorry to say we will not be back. My husband was very disappointed because it was the hype that brought us here and we can definitely say it isn't worth it. You can get much better BBQ elsewhere especially at this price point, we deserve better.

The atmosphere was nice though. The patio area was cool. But the food is nothing to...

From the moment you walk into this place you can feel the H-Town atmosphere take over. Raul will greet you with a smile and a handshake and there isn't a bad seat in the house at all. This place is perfect for a pre game snack as its just a stones throw away from Minute Maid. Or you can just pick a table and watch one of the many mounted big screen TV's that are all over. The game is on but its NOT on, you can either enjoy the game or a nice conversation about the game. The food is amazing and the menu is something that is new to the area and much needed in my opinion. The BirriaDillas were amazing and the consume was tasty with a nice spice that complimented them well. The Boudin Mac and Brisket Dilla was delicious and you can see the pit that it is cooked in if you peek in the kitchen. Its definitely one of those places you can see yourself coming back to time...
