Omg Houston, are you serious? PRESENTATION isn’t uniform across the board. It has to be visitors that ain’t from here. I can’t even tell you about what i ordered bc one of the sides I was sharing with my baby was wrong and spicy!!!! This place is over hyped and I wish I would have went to tastebar, Esther’s or mickeys… they only have 6 entrees and they just can’t get right!! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!! WHEN THEY SAID THEYRE FROM PHILLY!!!!!!!!! Not to go!!!!

I am a business owner of a fleet, this is not the way! They say to order ahead as if you are able to pick up and go. If there is a long line, no matter if you placed your order 20 min ago via call, text or doordash. It doesn’t matter: they are incompetent and ABSURDLY UNORGANIZED. You will still have to wait. The ppl who Paid while you were in line to get your food, gets their food before you. Makes sense? They’re across the street from Woodrow with the patio lights. A well lit sign would be great! Ok now I’m here to pick up an order I placed 45 min ago and it’s 15 more minutes till my order is ready. As a business owner, this is a HORRIBLE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. they tell you to park on the street as you’re just picking up an order, I’m literally on the street with my 4 way flashers on as if I’m doing a quick pickup, on the Main Street for 20 minutes. You would try to support a small ‘black business’ and the saying to underpromise and over deliver?… They did the exact opposite. Then you have a friend come and do a handshake with the cook or owner (don’t know cuz he looks nothing like the picture) and walks in from the side street into the truck. The food? I have no idea who has done the reviews whether it be the friends, out of towners and ppl who don’t know what good food is idk. Literally everyone who stood in front of me ordered and received their food, while I placed my order 20 minutes before the whole ordeal. I proceeded to the counter as my name was called, told them I w8d 1hr to the girl, she told the ‘man’ he said ‘it’s right here. It’s right here, I’m sorry!’ I said ‘it’s okay’ then he preceded back to where I couldn’t see him.. said something and the girl looked back at him and said ‘you’re crazy’ with a chuckle. Ok let’s move on to the food! I paid 68.20 for my food and had the nerve to leave a 5.00 tip, you do the math…I paid tap to pay, I then check to see what the charge was as I was charged and it was apporved.. I asked the girl for a receipt as it doesn’t reflect. She said she can write it down and hand it to me.. lol she literally gives me the RECEIPT with just what I ordered. No pricing or dollar amount.. where did she come from? Off the street? Look at the pic still no dang on amount on what I was charged, but ok.

Ok so, I ordered the lamb chops with MARSHMALLOW sweet potatoes and MACNCHEESE. Then I ordered the fried chicken wings, collard greens and Mac n cheese.

The order of lamb chops was for my husband, he said the lamb chops were delicious, the sauce is saucing. The sweet potatoes as you see, had no MARSHMALLOWS. The Mac n cheese was good but could have had better seasoning.

Now the fried chicken order. The wings are HUMONGOUS. They were ok, had a charred taste to it, I didn’t receive my Mac n cheese!! They gave me SPICY CABBAGE INSTEAD!! I’m sharing this with a toddler! You gave me the wrong sht(unorganized, can’t read?) then I got the collard greens… I am not lying to you. Ever heard ‘can’t eat everybody’s collard greens?’ Don’t even do it. Dry, flavorless and has a screaming I’m too soaked after taste.

All in all? The food was a 3/5 (maybe too high, but lamb chops saved it for him) My experience? Makes it a ‘0’ this is crazy. I don’t recommend their food. The lamb chop plate my husband had was worth 25$ after all fees. The fried chicken wing plate? Maybe $15. It’s so many other better places yall. For real

I went here on Saturday I paid 94$ for 3 plates and 1 dr pepper the food was horrible the chicken wings were so big they looked like turkey wings the hot honey sauce made the chicken soggy and the crack wings were bland and had no season the mac and cheese tasted like boiled pasta water with no flavor the greens were sweet and spicy and horrible the only thing that was good was the smoked meat in the greens needless to say it was a waste of my 94$ and the plates went in the trash I wasn't gonna make a review but that 94$ that went in the trash been on my mind all weekend then someone bought their dog out there and the there was dog popp on the artificial grass and we stepped in it so there was another bad experience. My friends said maybe they just had a bad night just try again and I will never ever go again I mean how can you mess up fried chicken mac and cheese and greens and you say your the best late night soul food? Food 0/10 customer service 8/10 don't waste you hard earned money or time on this food truck cause we did wait over an hour for the food with dog poop on the bottom of our shoes never...

I order the crack chicken with greens and Mac and cheese. Well the chicken wings were a size 2xl. Then we only got 2 tablespoons of sides. So, I just knew it wasn’t cooked all the way through. Now this is just mad wrong to charge someone $29 dollars and you give them uncooked bloody chicken. I want all of my money back!!!! Don’t come on here with the sweet stuff comment with a number so I can get my money back… My question to the owner and the workers who served me this mess. WILL YOU EAT THIS?? I spent over $100 and don’t get me started on the lambs…

4/5 I went back to Goodies after a conversation that I had with Ms. Jessica. She was very nice and understanding about the situation. She explained to me what happened that night and invited me to come back to her food truck. She was nice enough the refunded all my money back and she gave me 3 free meals. This time I got the jerk chicken pasta and it was sooooo good. Hands down the best pasta I’ve had in a very long time. So go check them out…. Thank you again Jessica for being so awesome.. I wish I had pictures but that pasta...
