I have been going to this store since they were on West Alabama years and years ago. I was visiting Houston for my birthday and decided to walk around the Heights area to do some shopping on Tuesday. I came into the store around 130 and was greeted by a woman. I was fairly sure I remembered her from the year before when I came. I immediately started looking at the sterling silver rings because that’s what I was in the market for (I had purchased a sterling silver ring from Ring Concierge the day before). I found one that I liked and was told it was $110. I knew, from previous experiences there, they would negotiate with me. I put the ring back in the empty spot next to it so I could remember that was the one I liked. I browsed for another 5 minutes or so, being there a total of maybe 15 minutes. I went back to the rings to hopefully start bargaining. She asked me where the ring I liked was, which I picked up and showed her. She then started asking about the ring that was in the missing spot. I told her I wasn’t sure, that I had moved the ring I liked just to remember which one it was. I looked down at my hands multiple times to make sure I wasn’t wearing it and picked up the two trays on the counter. I looked all around on the floor, but didn’t see anything. She did not seem to be searching though. She almost instantly started insinuating that I took a ring from there. I told her that I wasn’t sure where it was or what happened to it, but that I didn’t take it and that they should look at the cameras. (I was wearing a mini skirt so i didn’t have pockets, just my bag) she told me that I needed to wait until the owner could come look at the cameras, but there was no one else there. I told her that I wasn’t going to be waiting, but they should look at the cameras and when they see that I didn’t take it then they’ll feel silly. As I’m leaving and crossing the street a woman I have never seen before pulls up in a black SUV, screaming at me from the window that I needed to come back inside until they can review the cameras. I told her that I would not be going back inside and that I did not take anything but that they should review the cameras. I then walked to my car and tried to call my dad. When he didn’t answer, I went back inside to see if they had checked the cameras since it had been about 10 minutes, which they hadn’t yet…. lol. (I also never saw the weird security guard in the car again). I recorded the whole interaction. She started by saying the owner would need to check from the WHOLE day but then a few minutes later said I was the first customer that day. Which is it? She also said that I had already left so it didn’t matter I suppose insinuating that I dumped whatever I “stole”? I told her they should verify before just outwardly accusing someone of stealing. She told me to never come back, which I absolutely will not. The whole situation was frustrating to deal with on my birthday and the way they went about it was very weird...

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to hopefully save someone else from the disappointment I’ve endured.
I came to this jewelry business to create a custom ring using diamonds I already owned – incredibly sentimental ones that belonged to my mother, who passed away from cancer. This ring was meant to represent love and memory. Unfortunately, it now only reminds me of frustration and regret.
The final product looks nothing like the reference image I provided. When I expressed my concerns, the staff insisted the design matched what I sent – focusing only on the placement of the stones and dismissing the fact that the overall look and feel were completely off. I explained that I’m not a jewelry designer – they are – and if the design wouldn’t translate properly using my diamonds, they should have told me before starting the work. I never received a drawing or design proof, which is standard practice in custom work. I’ve had custom jewelry made before and always received mockups for approval. Not here.
When I tried to raise these concerns, I was told to take it home and “let it grow on me” because I’d probably come to like it. I didn’t. I called back and explained my continued disappointment. The designer then told me if I wanted something different, I’d have to pay full price for an entirely new ring. That was beyond frustrating – I already paid good money for a piece that I now can’t stand to look at.
To make matters worse, the service throughout was unprofessional and chaotic. The woman at the shop (who is not one of the owners/designers) handled everything and wouldn’t let me speak with the designers directly – even when I asked. She also told me not to share my quote with anyone because it was a “good deal” and she’d get in trouble. Red flag.
The ring was delayed, and no one called to update me. I was promised photos and updates but had to chase them myself just to get any information. Even the appraisal I paid for wasn’t ready when I picked up the ring. I had to return the ring again so a third party could complete it – and when I finally received it, it was missing key details like clarity and color. When I contacted the appraiser, he didn’t even have a record of my ring, and I had to send him a copy myself.
I should’ve stuck with Erica, just a few doors down. I’ve worked with her before and at least know I would have received the design I asked for, treated with respect, and given a proper appraisal.
This entire experience has left me feeling taken advantage of, gaslit, and heartbroken. I do not recommend this business – especially if your piece carries emotional weight. What should have been a beautiful tribute to my mom is now a...
Read moreTurn out to be liars and Bad workmanship Had them repair a bracelet that wasn't worth more than 20$. Paid 70$ just to have clasp fall off the next week. That was a lost but the real issue was I was so impressed by the bracelet when I picked it up, I asked them to make a pendant and left a 70$ deposit. When I cancelled the other within the week the clerk gave me back the pendant untouched still in the baggie but lied about refunding my money because they had already bought supplies worth 50$. I just asked for my crystal back and thought real hard about exposing them before I wrote this review. They were wrong for keeping my money but legal and wrong for lying about already buying the supplies. Plus she blamed me for not coming back to the store immediately cause the clasp had came off once but I just thought I didnt have it on fully. But a week and it falls off? The bracelet that was supposed to last forever is now gone because of shotty...
