After nine years, I returned to Casa Ramirez to replace my aging SunBody hat. My original hat was worn extensively outside in the hot, humid and often times raining weather of Texas.
Up to about three months ago, this hat was a solid performer! It finally started to show its heavy use on the top portion of the crown, where I often use my hand to place and remove the hat from my head. The oversized hat was also a great defensive mechanism when it came to the preying yellowjackets and wasps. And for a faired skin person, this hat did it's job by providing great protection from the sun!!!

Your abuelita and your parents definitely had some of these items floating around their house. I love to visit this place for the memories it brings but also to support a local business paying homage to authentic Mexicano/Tejano culture.
There is a vast selection of items from art work, cookware, home items, clothing, games and books. The service is good. They will mostly leave you alone to peruse the items but will occasionally make conversation with you and answer any questions you have.
