I can only speak to the memory care services, but I cannot recommend this facility to anyone. When my mother first moved in a couple of years ago, there was an excellent director, but once she left, the quality of care declined significantly.
We were informed that my mother required a sitter to help monitor her, which we arranged. However, when the sitter sent us photos or reported the inadequate care my mom was receiving, she faced backlash from the director and head nurses. The sitter was prohibited from taking photos of my mother or sharing any negative information with us. We were the ones who hired and paid her, yet it felt like we had no say in her care. Without the sitter's assistance, I shudder to think of what my mother's condition would have been.
On a positive note, the staff on the 7 am to 2 pm shift were wonderful. They were honest and consistently went above and beyond. Sadly, the issues during the later shifts and the new director tarnished our experience. Many dedicated employees either left or were let go. The staff was overworked and there simply weren’t enough of them. On my mom's final day, I noticed that only one person was responsible for the entire floor, and she was sitting at a table absorbed in her phone.
Whenever we discussed concerns with the director, it felt as though the focus shifted back to us, leading me to worry that my mother’s care would be compromised. The director often lied, assuring us that issues were addressed when they were not. We encountered numerous problems that required multiple follow-ups.
I understand that every one of these places has its challenges, but this experience was incredibly frustrating for us during an already stressful period. You find yourself in a difficult situation when a loved one reaches a point where moving them could jeopardize their mental well-being and...
Read moreMy mother was 94 when I took her in. She lived there 2 months. During that time she got a UTI and C-Diff and was not fed or given water at the end. Putting food and water on the counter that she couldn't reach does not count as feeding. The wound nurse that I had came by and found that her oxygen was extremely low. The wound nurse called for an ambulance and she died 5 days later from water on the lungs and severe dehydration. The dr. at the facility did not diagnose her properly. She died (in my opinion) from lack of care. The caretakers are ok (some better than others) but the head management, nursing staff and doctors leave a lot to be desired. It is not clean, and there is only one person per floor. I know they say two, but one sits in the chair all day. I have a list of 22 items I shared with the Executive Director. I asked why the nurses never checked her Oxygen levels. She said they did nothing if the dr. didn't write it on the chart. (Seriously) She also had a level 2 bedsore that I didn't find out about until I was there and she was being changed. So, If your loved one cannot walk or take care of themselves this is not a good place to send them, (again in my opinion). I know they have the certification but they are meaningless. Best bet is to get a home caregiver. It is expensive but it is about the same and the care is...

This is the worst place to work or bring your loved ones. The facility puts on an act when family members visit, but behind the scenes it’s understaffed, unprofessional, and unsafe. Staff turnover is extremely high—many new hires don’t even last a week. They pay less than other facilities and expect staff to do heavy, unsafe lifting with little support.
I personally witnessed neglect, mistreatment, and a lack of appreciation for staff who truly cared for residents. Management covers up issues instead of addressing them, and they prioritize money over proper care. Even long-term employees admit the place is messy and poorly run.
If you value your loved one’s safety and dignity, please do not bring them here. There are far better options where residents will be cared for with the respect...
