Asian Market — Attraction in Huntsville

The people who gave this place one star are generally the people that aren't used to international or Asian markets. The staff here are actually very nice once you get to know them. This market in particular sells mostly Chinese sauces and dry goods, and everything is of fantastic quality. They have a very nice cold drink section and the flat bottom woks are amazing. The frozen dumpling and pancakes section has fantastic variety if you're looking for that sort of thing and I've never found more interesting instant ramen flavors than here.

Keep in mind that because this is a small business, that they only accept card payments over $10. It costs a pretty penny to run a card payment, so helping them out by paying in cash is preferred.

This market, however, is on my weekly grocery run list and I would honestly die for this store. They're amazing and they work incredibly hard to keep it well stocked and looking great. I appreciate...

I will not be shopping here again and I would highly advise those looking for an international market to consider Thanh Hung or Far East.

The available selection is limited compared to other international markets. Some non-produce items were past the recommended expiration date. The staff is rude and inflexible. Don't plan on inspecting produce items or seafood without being bothered or removed.

My recommendation would be to avoid this store all together and choose any other international store. Indian Bazaar, Choi's, and Jamos are right down the road and Thanh Hung and Far East have a better selection with...

Horrible smell of dead seafood not on ice and almost all live crabs, lobsters and fish were dead. Fish and shrimp wasn't in water or on ice and were dead. Duck left out, not covered, for bugs to get too and not to mention how it could get contaminated by people who touch them, sneeze or cough on them ect....Yikes!!! Refrigerator where veggies are was so disgusting and dirty. Doesn't take regular card purchases or EBT food cards. One check out line.
