The employees seemed really kind so I may have just had a bad experience, but I was referred to this shop by several others around for an issue my iPhone was having. I called the day before and was told it would be a quick 30-minute fix, no appointment needed. I arrived the day of and was told it would be about an hour, but no biggie, I know that repair shops are usually busy. I entered my passcode for my device, left a backup number to call with Remington, who I spoke to the day prior, and was told I would receive a call when my phone was ready. 2 hours passed and we had not heard anything, so I came back to see the status, only to find out they had not started on it at all because Remington had forgotten to write down my passcode, therefore they could not have gotten into the phone. I was told that a phone call was attempted. I said we had not received any phone calls. The employee who was there at that time repeated the number back to me, which was the incorrect number. That employee had apologized and said he didn't know why the pin number hadn't been written down and apologized for the number misunderstanding. He said Remington had also left for the day, so I had to re-explain the issue my phone was having. I was told it would be about another 30 minutes-hour or so since they still had to back up everything on the device. So, a proposed 30-minute visit ended up being closer to 4.5 hours. I know things happen, and as someone that has worked in customer service myself, mistakes are made. I just wish before we had left, the phone number would have been repeated back to us to make sure it was written down correctly, and that my pin number was taken down before me leaving to prevent that being an issue.
