Terrible customer service. I was in the plumbing department and they were out of a part I needed. I asked an associate (heavy set young female, tall, big round face with long dark hair) to help but she was with another customer. I asked her to come back after helping him and she said she would. I waited for nearly 20 minutes and she never returned. I walked to the door and windows desk and there was an associate named "Royal" on the computer with no other customers around. I patiently waited for him. He looked right at me and never even acknowledged me. I expected a "I'll be right with you" or "I'm busy right now but let me get someone else to help you." Instead i was completely ignored. I then took a picture of the part I needed and went to the customer service desk to have them find it at another store. Once I got to customer service, I saw the original young lady that was supposed to come back and help me but never did. Instead she was laughing and joking around with another co-worker. At that point I got very annoyed and asked for the store manager. "Brian" the manager wasn't available so they sent "Liz" to assist me. I told her what happened and all she said was sorry. Along with the apology she should have asked if she can help me find what I was looking for. Instead I got just an apology and nothing more. At the end of the day, it's not the fault of the team members, rather the fault of their leadership. Read moreThe lady Mia "pink hair two ponytails " in customer service was very rude & very disrespectful. I went to pick up a handicap toilet seat for $44 for my mother who has stage 4 cancer. It was ordered online. I had the order on my phone, the credit card and ID and because my cousin listed our other cousin to pick-up she gave my husband and I the hardest time. So I ending up canceling the order through the home depot app and purchasing it in the store. This took too much of my time and time I could've been at home with my sick mother. She was very argumentative and insisted on having the last word. We spoke to Jason the manager she even got snappy with him and walked off on him while he was trying to see what had taken place. He stated to us that there's allot of fraud in the area which is understandable but why treat everyone like a fraud situation especially someone who has the actual credit card that the order was placed with,the Drivers license to match the credit card, and the order displayed on their phone. She wanted to write my driver's license down which sounded very fraudulent to me and it was $44 not $400 or $4,000 for that matter. Why would you guys have someone with a short fuse working in customer service of all places? She she be in the back unpacking pallettes that way she doesn't have to much interaction with customers or a janitorial postion. Read moreI called in order to get information about one of my orders and it sent me to the paint department in which when telling them the reason why I called the operator was yelling in frustration that they were the paint the department while i called the general stores number and had no idea i would be dialed their department. After calmly explaining that I didn't knownand my situation she then transfered me to the department she thought would best help me. I was then tranfered to the garden department in which the operator there was friendly and tried to transfer to the appliance department as that made the most sense. After waiting for 3 min I would then get someone but be quickly put back on hold with no answer. This would then happen for two more times with no answer and finally I would get an answer from the appliance the department, which was the only good part of the whole situation. The only reason I'm not giving a 1 star is for the operator for the appliance department who quickly understood my problem and helped me resolve it. Bottom line is that the operator for the paint department was rude for no reason and the the operator for the garden department had me switch around several times to other operators and not the one I needed, but the best and only good one was the appliance department operator, he might have been from another country considering his accent but he was the highlight...
