OC Tint Shop — Attraction in Irvine

My review will be a little different. Yes, OC Tint shop did a great job on my car. The pricing was competitive. Here’s where I will rave. I had my car done in November last year. After all was said and done, they had this promotion going. Spin the wheel. $20 Amazon gift card. Starbucks. $50-$100 off next tint. Stuff like that. What do I land on? The least likely prize and only one on the wheel. $500 in credit for next tint. Wow! I think cool, and without a another car to do, figure whatever, I’ll deal with it later. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. Walk in and talk to Travis, he says call Greysi at the Irvine shop. I do. I have a big trapezoid window in my master bedroom that blinds would be a pain for and it lets in a lot of sun. Figure tinting it would help. I also figure this is a $700 or so job? Not that I know any better, but in my mind, even if that’s the price for a big window, 7 feet off the ground, I’ll pay $200 out of pocket and be happy. After all they need to make money. My quote? Under $500. They’ll basically take care of my window and I have credit left over for another job if I want to do it. I’ve won things in the past. Usually it never goes the way you think and it’s more hassle than it’s even worth. Not with OC TINT! Outstanding service, and to go above and beyond the way they did, I can’t say enough good things. My son will have a car soon, it’ll need tint. My wife is due for a new car soon too. I’ll be going to OC TINT and nowhere else. Lifelong customer gained, all by doing things the way they...

OC tint had one of there employees scan the decals I brought them so they would be made out of a better material than the ones i provided. Below you can see my first review. After going back to have decals installled on the rear windows of my truck which they didn’t install correctly they said when these started to look a little faded come back and they will redo them for free. I went back like a year later and they said they wouldn’t do it. What dicks. I spent close to $3k cash with them and since i did cash they didn’t give me a proper incvoice and this is what they do. Never again will i do business with them. I’m all about supporting local family owned small business. That’s why I not only had my wife’s truck done at OC Tint but I brought back my van to be done also. There professionalism and how they guaranteed the work has made it totally worth it. When I initially called I talked to Graysi who set up my appointment and promptly quoted me through email after we talked about the job. When I arrived to get the work done Graysi took me to there display wall and walked me through the different types of tint. Carbon film and ceramic the pros and cons of each also the warranties. I left while they did the work and came back a couple hours later to a truck that was transformed from pretty nice to killer. The film I went with was the ceramic for the UV protection to cut down the heat inside and also to protect the leather dashboard. OC Tint Shop is located in a small business complex off Richter and is the last unit facing Jamboree. My first experience with OC Tint Shop was great! I felt very comfortable from the moment I walked in and there was no pressure to upgrade.

This is the 3rd car I've brought in. Only two of the cars needed returning only because I got fix-it ticket at LAX. OC Tint gave me a discount for the removing & re-tinting. The second car was a tint gift for my husband’s new car. I didn’t think much about it back then when I chose the Carbon tint, but his car is parked outside and it gets really hot.

This week, I brought my new car in for a tint and my hubby was ready to upgrade to the Advanced Nano. What a hard lesson learned for me.... Don’t go cheap on the tint! Get it right he first time and save money! Lol

I've always loved the service here. Everything from getting a quote and appointment from Travis, to checking in and deciding on tint with Christina has been very smooth. Christina patiently educated my husband and I on all we needed to know about the different types of tint from A through Z. The shop is super clean, service is great and work is exceptional. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my "babies". You're in good hands at OC Tint.
