After a decade of trying various nail services, I recently encountered the most discourteous, unprofessional, and inept service I've ever experienced, and it truly stands out as the worst customer service on the planet.
I want to draw your attention to a name you should remember: Monik who works at Wynn Nail & Spa, situated at 92 Corporate Park, Irvine, CA 92606.
Monik, in my opinion, is not only the poorest nail technician I've come across, but I would go as far as to say she's the worst I've ever encountered in any profession. You might be wondering why I hold this view. Here are several compelling reasons why I strongly advise against seeking nail services from her:
She lacks any semblance of customer service skills. Her appearance suggests extreme fatigue and exhaustion. She exhibits rudeness in her interactions. Her knowledge of nail coloring is severely lacking. She conducts herself in an extremely unprofessional manner when dealing with people.
I've already spoken to the manager, Daniel, about her behavior, and I firmly believe that if left unchecked, she will have a detrimental impact on the business.
If you're wondering why businesses are struggling and closing down in Irvine and other areas, I believe it can often be attributed to a single factor: poor customer service, precisely what I experienced at Wynn Nail Salon, courtesy of Monik.
I sincerely hope individuals like Monik are given the opportunity to undergo training in customer service and interpersonal interactions before entering any profession. Without such preparation, we may witness more businesses closing their doors in the near future.
Daniel, I urge you to seriously consider the impact of Monik's actions on your establishment. Good luck with your decisions.

In response to the business owner's reply:
Hi,
I appreciate your response.
It appears that your primary focus is on explaining why your pedicure technician wasn't compensated. As a fellow business owner, I'd like to offer some friendly advice: Business owners should primarily concentrate on ensuring customer satisfaction rather than the financial aspect. It's crucial never to hold customers responsible for not paying for a service (ranging from $30 to $50) when they have been left profoundly disappointed and dissatisfied with the overall services, business, or technicians.
My wife has invested thousands of dollars in her nail services and continues to do so. Please don't attribute non-payment of $30 to $50 to dissatisfaction with the service.
Rather than acknowledging the subpar and highly unsatisfactory service, it seems you are suggesting that we should pay and show respect to the business? Am I misunderstanding something here?
I believe this may not be the most constructive way to address an issue arising from your technician's interactions with customers.
I'm honestly at a...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE! Unprofessional, late, unorganized, sloppy work.
I have been coming here for two years and finally I’m done. Vivian is extremely unprofessional, does not know a thing about customer service.
I had an appointment at 10 with Monique, she was 20 minutes late. I asked for a hard gel fil and polish with flowers. The flowers were horrible, the colors bleeding into each other, it looked like I did it. She took them off and I said forget it, just do the color. The color was horrible, the edges weren’t done, there were bumps, again it looked like I did it, and not a trained professional. She finished at 12, and I had somewhere to be at 12:30 so I didn’t have time for her to fix it again, so after I paid $60, I asked for an appointment two days later to fix it with Vivian. Vivians boyfriend works the front desk, so he obviously knew I was unhappy since I literally made an appointment 1 minute after my service.
Once I got to my fixing appointment Vivian was attacking me saying it’s my fault I didn’t like it and that Monique did a good job. Literally she was arguing with me saying it looked good, delusional. She took off the polish and put on new polish. She told me it would cost $30 and that’s when I knew I’d never be coming back. If a customer is unhappy with a sloppy nail job, you fix it for free. I told Vivian this is extremely unprofessional and I would not be coming back. Once again she gaslight me and said it was my fault.
MY RESPONSE TO VIVIAN: girl, are you delusional? You fought with me as I complained that Monique did a horrible job, you literally said “everyone does different work” lol. YOU ASKED ME WHAT COLOR I WANTED TO SWITCH TO. If I knew you would have charged me obviously I wouldn’t have switched colors. When I told you I’d never come back you smiled in my face and said thank you, and now you’re trying to act all professional on the review....
Read moreI had all but given up on finding a decent nail salon in Orange County after one bad acrylic set after another left my nails completely wrecked. Then I found Wynn Nails—and more importantly, Vivian.
When I came in, I was skeptical and honestly pretty discouraged. But after talking with Vivian about my concerns, she recommended trying Gel X. I wasn’t sold at first, but she patiently walked me through the process, explained the benefits, and shared her specific expertise with Gel X. I needed a new set anyway, so I gave it a shot—and I’m so glad I did.
Not only did my nails look amazing, but they also lasted a full eight weeks with no damage or lifting. Vivian’s designs are always on point, and she handles every style or reference I bring in with ease.
The salon is clean and well-equipped, and it’s a no-frills kind of place in the best way—clean, comfortable, and focused on great service. I’ve never felt judged or rushed here—just well taken care of.
Vivian is a talented artist and a thoughtful business owner, and I’m really happy I found her. If you’re looking for nails that are beautiful, long-lasting, and done by someone who knows what they’re doing, I definitely recommend giving Wynn...
