Worst Ulta experience ever! The manager needs to be replaced. This is NOT the first time so much of my time has been wasted here! I will never return to this store again! I would rather drive to Lake Forest where the staff and management are extremely nice. I utilized a $10 promo for trying pickup -only after showing up does it tell you that pickups aren’t an option after 5 pm which was frustrating enough- so then I go inside and wait in line to pickup and the order update informs me that one of the items was out of stock which is obviously no fault of mine because when I placed the order it was in stock. But as a result of that item not being included I didn’t get the promo price on the item I waited over half an hour in line for and the email didn’t state the new balance/cost of the item that was still in stock which made it go back to FULL price! At full price I don’t need to rush to pick up and can buy this item any day. The whole point of dealing with the madness was to at least get a discount. When I pick up my item not only do they give me attitude but there’s no receipt provided to me with my pickup for me to be able to see the updated price right away so I look onto my phone online to see the new price and told the manager I would just rather return the item then and she tells me I have to start all over in THE BACK of the line! So much of my time was wasted and the promo rate should have been honored. Seems like a ginormous scam to try to get your business and then after bringing you in they take away the discount price that was already applied when I placed the order online to checkout- sounds illegal to me to be changing the price when they are suddenly out of an item that conveniently has them negate the promo price from the rest of your items for no longer qualifying when no one informed you in advance or gave you the opportunity to replace it with a different item or anything really to be fair to the customer. And the manager was so rude towards me that I would never go back to that store! She even had security stare me down in line while they gossiped about me like little school girls just because I wanted the promo price to be honored - they were extremely unprofessional! And dealing with immature adults like this at a business when I’ve more than earned my dollars at work while taking care of covid patients all week really irked me even more. It’s good for Ulta that they have other Ulta stores in my area or they would be losing my business altogether because of the way I was treated. Read moreI came to Irvine location after Tustin location messed up my eyebrows. The girl Ariel mapped out my eyebrows and did great in giving them a full shape again. She also recommended this gel to help grow my brows back which she gave me her own story about how it helped her grow the tail of brow back after seven months. I went to her a few more times, but on one of the last times I felt like she was spending a longer time waxing that I reminded her I want to keep my brows full and she said, "Well, not too full!" (I mean, is there such a thing??) Sure enough, she took too much off and one side was thinner than the other. I came back one more time--on Feb 25--and AGAIN she was spending too much time waxing that AGAIN I stopped her and she commented how one of my brows was thinner than the other that she was trying to even them out... WELL DUH DUMMY! That's because YOU took too much off of that one side the last time I was there! (I said in my head, of course.) Haven't been back since and I wrote this review now because that one side STILL hasn't grown back, even having used the gel which makes me feel like she made up her own story to make a sale. Read moreToday I went to this Ulta location to buy some makeup I had went to the front counter and asked the lady to help me find this lipstick that I needed in the Urban Decay section she sent a man over to help me I asked him for the lipstick and I asked him for a lightweight foundation and he looked around for a minute and he said I'm going to go grab Sarah she's almost done with her lunch she's a color specialist and can help you out better then he took off to go help another customer out and left me standing there so I waited around for 20 minutes no one showed up nobody asked me if I needed help I had a bunch of other things in my bag I set my bag down and I left I've never had such poor customer service at an Ulta before the fact that he didn't even walk back over and tell me she was done with her break or where she was or nobody else would help me out it's just sucks I've never been treated like that and I spend hundreds of dollars on make up there so i was very frustrated.
