Update: Here’s the thing, in the years I’ve been living here, I’ve tried it all. Indian supermarket, apna bazaar, and boy I thought that this was the solution. A modern new store promising to return quality and decent pricing. Indian supermarket haggles you and cheats you when you return their food because it was infested. Apna bazaar has a terrible selection. I thought Krishna supermarket would be the path forward. I was wrong. I have seen weevils in their rice, turning into moths and flocking to the ceiling. I’ve bought janaki murukku and within 1 day it was spoiled and rancid. THAT SAID… They used to make you fresh sugarcane juice, they used to have great quality, and they might be improving, I mean they have a PR worker now. Anyway, your takeaway should be that each place has its own problems and in my opinion apna bazaar is the lesser evil. This place is getting better so maybe consider it if...
Read moreI am shocked at how few people have commented on the absolute disarray of this store, I literally tripped and fell in the aisle due to the lack of organization. This store sucks and the state of it just shows how little care goes into this business and makes me second guess the quality of everything. This photo of the freezer is just ONE part of a COMPLETELY disorganized and terribly kept store. Boxes strewn on every aisle, shelves falling over with disorganized product, the list goes on. I would give my business to another grocery store that cares about presentation, cleanliness, and service. I never really leave negative reviews but this store was so terrible that I had to, especially since all the other reviews were shockingly positive. I hope that they take this feedback seriously and start to put more intention and care into...
Read moreLooking for an Indian grocery store with easy parking, well organized products, and a very good selection of packaged items from all kinds of rice, spice, and everything nice, including quick mix for dhokla and such? This is it! Love not having to drive to some busy area and fight for parking. This place stocks most things you are craving or needing. They have sweets like biscuits and candy, or make your own specialties with their array of flours, spices, even jaggery sugar. There is a small fresh produce section too. This visit they had lovely fresh mint but no curry leaves, however I did see some workers trying to restock the many empty spots, so probably next time. Anyway, all in all a great shop. Note: Convenient access at 7th St traffic light, you turn into their parking lot. Just head straight back and...
