It's been years since I've visited Threadneedle shop...a time when I could still drive and had more mobility and independence. I remember that usually I was hunting for that new project and was filled with the excitement and anticipation that only a fellow needleworker could appreciate, and usually not knowing what I'd walk out of the store with. I just happened to think of this shop as I was browsing the Internet, and I've been studying the photos of the shop. Even now I could pack a bag and just move inch by inch through the shop and spend a whole week there. There's no such thing as time when you are doing something that's your passion. Now, I'm finishing all the projects I bought back then and that have been stored in my closet! Going back is something that's on my bucket list. I’ve ordered from Denise many times, particularly Medici wool, which she still sells but this is the first time in a number of visits to the Seattle area that I finally got the chance to see the shop in person. It’s a small store filled with so many hard to find threads and other stitching supplies for cross stitch and needlepoint. It’s a gem!
