Kroger — Attraction in Jackson

Older lady, real long hair, works self checkout this morning is extremely rude. This isn’t the first time either. She acted like I couldn’t read that one self checkout was down and yelled “doesn’t work!” Four times when I never even went to or aimed for that checkout. I scanned my items, DEBIT CARD OUT, at the next one she kept on “MAAM its no cash, no cash, NO CASH!” Like there wasn’t a sign on the register that said debit/credit only. I know she was talking to me as I was the ONLY ONE THERE at 6:30am. It’s opening it’s obvious her day has just begun and if it’s just started with that attitude it will be a long day for her and the customers. Just go to the W University one.

Update: different day and same lady. Snatched my receipt as it was printing and threw it away. When I asked did she really just do that she said no, I was again the only person in here. I go to the trash and pull out my receipt proving she did in fact snatch and throw my receipt away before it was even cut from the machine. PLEASE do...

I am so impressed with the management and the employees here. 1. I shopped with crutches (and a scooter), when I got ready to leave, the grocery manager helped me to my truck while I hopped on my crutches. Then a I got ready to leave he helped someone else. Just outstanding. 2. I was having trouble finding a product, and a young men named Hunter went out of his way to take me to the product (the product was in an odd place and difficult to explain) 3. The store manager was on the floor organizing product (as though he was just an employee). When I see upper management on the floor doing what he asked of subordinates, I see a leader setting the example. I love this store, clean, organized and great people working. Oh, 4. I recently had the best customer service experience at the Kroger in Jackson, Tennessee, thanks to a cashier named Taylor Owens. She was extremely sweet and friendly, and she made great conversation while I was checking out. She was also very thorough and efficient, and she made sure that I had everything I needed.

I'm so grateful for Taylor's excellent customer service. She made my shopping experience at Kroger much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a friendly and efficient grocery shopping experience.
