This was my very first time getting a tattoo and everyone made sure it was pleasant and went great. I actually ended up getting 3 in one session and the designer was very friendly and worked with me and listened to what I wanted and even gave me a great deal for all 3 which I greatly appreciate.
As for the actual tattooing experience, Perry was the artist who worked with me and she made sure I was comfortable and had snacks and drinks. ☺️ I was really nervous about the pain but she did a great job making sure it never felt like anything more than stinging. She also listened to me when I would make a quick suggestion (about color), she wanted to make sure I got what I wanted even when I asked for her suggestions which I appreciated immensely. Her line-work is beautiful and she pays attention to details. She did such a beautiful job with the colors on my rainbow tattoo and really made sure to make each color pop.
Everyone in the shop is super friendly and welcoming and I highly recommend them...
Read moreMy free consultation was not with the artist they scheduled me with. I explained what I wanted and asked if they were able to do a 3D inverted style. The initial guy (granted there is a bit of a language barrier) said he understood. When I spoke with the second guy he thought I was getting two tatoos. When I explained it was one but I sent a Pic to reference style, he confirmed that he understood what I wanted. Nothing was drawn up. I went in for my appointment and my artist thought he was doing a bold black tattoo. I explained again that this was not what I wanted. They "worked on" something else on the computer for over a half hour to come up with an overly shaded Grey design, opposite of what I was asking for. I again asked for confirmation that they could execute the style. I was assured that they understood and could. They did not. I didn't get a horrible tat. It is good for what it is....just not what I asked for. The heart is the style I was referenced...
Read moreVery uncomfortable setting. HUGE language barrier. Out of the 4 people there only one spoke English and after 20 minutes of waiting and listening to them (in another language) go back and forth certainly arguing about the fact that they did not want to tattoo us, the young guy did not even know what a Grateful Dead dancing bear is and wanted to charge $600 for an outline. Yea no thanks. We went across the street to 8th day tattoo and had THE BEST experience. The artists knew right away what we wanted and took us all in without any hesitation. Of note, while we were waiting in this place there was also a women wanting a nose piercing and clearly they did not want to do that either and the young guy attempted to talk her out of it multiple times until she said she was leaving then they decided they wanted her money. I would never step foot in any of these shops. If you want a good tattoo by confident, knowledgeable and kind artists then go right...
