I'll start with the good, then explain why i only left 3 stars. (read all the way through it's worth it)
Pros: Nicole did my wax and she was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and very professional. She seemed very knowledge about the process and was able to relate. She explained what she was going to do before doing it, but made sure to also distract me to ensure I didn't tense up or do anything to make it hurt worse. She was phenomenal and made sure to get everything! I wish i had just dealt with her the entire time. Facility was also very clean.
Cons: I was using a Groupon and the receptionist and supervisor didn't understand you can redeem on your end to print the Groupon and use is that way. They indirectly accused me of trying to use my Groupon twice and stated something along the lines of "we have no way of confirming you didn't use it, print it and try using it again". They weren't even willing to redeem on their end to ensure this wasn't the case, they just jumped to this conclusion. VERY unprofessional. I had to argue with them both before and after my wax for them to understand I am allowed to print my Groupon and present it there and i do not have to have the app (i don't keep misc apps on my phone that i don't use frequently). The supervisor, who i was talking to on speaker on the employee's cell phone, was very rude and was unwilling to check anything on her end and simply said it's policy that they cannot accept my printed Groupon. After fighting with them both the supervisor finally agreed to try to redeem my Groupon on her end, and wouldn't you know it worked and I, in fact, had not tried to be fraudulent. In addition, no one ever mentioned to me that there's only a 5 minute grace period and i made my appointment over the phone with them. I am the type of person who likes to be 5 minutes early somewhere but life happens and they tried to make me reschedule for being 8 minutes late. They were not busy and I was the only customer there. Had this been relayed to me when I scheduled, I would not have been so upset.
So all in all, had I only dealt with Nicole, I'd give 5 stars simply because I could not give more. Nicole is also what prevented me from leaving less stars. Had I only dealt with the receptionist and the supervisor I would have left 1 star, simply because i could...
Read moreMy very first visit was amazing, I had even signed up for their membership program. I was so excited about it. I had scheduled an appointment two weeks out for a vacation trip and on my way to my appointment someone had rescheduled it without my consent. When I got to the location the receptionist claimed that there was no way to fix it even me showing proof of my original scheduled appointment. She then proceeded to tell me I could get waxed but it would have to be with their male tech. I have a very real fear of men and finding this out sent me into a panic attack, the receptionist seemed to find this funny. I even asked if there was any way she could see if another location could fit me in. Again they messed up on their end and still wouldn't work with me. Another tech saw the situation and took me back for my wax. I was discounted less than half for my next appointment, which for the emotional stress they put me through just seemed like not enough. Fast forward and I wanted to cancel my membership, I had the district managers number because of the previous incident; I called her multiple times to get my membership cancelled due to the the fact I didn't want to have to go through that stress again. I literally had to call and hound them to get a call back confirming that it was handled and I wasn't going to be charged again for a service I wasn't going to use. I didn't even ask for a refund I just wanted to be done with the whole situation. I feel from start to finish nothing was handled professionally and I'm so disappointed about it. Read moreI have been coming here for years and absolutely love Costas. He is the best waxer and I’m so sad I will not be returning. The customer service provided by this brazils (and I guess all of them since it was the manager lady that emailed me back) is horrible. I signed up for their membership which truly is a good deal if you absolutely go every month like clock work. Life happened and I wasn’t able to go the first 6 months after having it. I understand it’s a use it or lose it situation but at $40/month I figured it was at least worth a shot to ask if they’d provide a bit of store credit since I always add more services and spend additional money every visit over the included Brazilian. I received a response reiterating the contract and that nothing could be done. I said ok, please don’t charge me for any more months since I just paid for another month like 3 days prior and she said 30 day notice is required so I will get charged one more time. Fine! So I came in and used it that month. Called yesterday to make sure it was still active to use it for the last time before it was actually cancelled - the lady told me it was so I scheduled. Come today expecting to pay about $75. Finish my service and get to the counter to be told I owe $140, my membership ended on the 24th. Excuse me? I was just confirmed yesterday. Too bad. They told you inaccurate information, this is what’s due. Nothing can be done. I will never be back. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years.
