I want to take time to give a huge shout out to My Staples in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I have been utilizing their services in the Printing Department for the last month. I must admit the copiers are huge and very intimidating. However, someone will assist. They stay swamped and you may need to wait for availability, yet that's alright as well, because they give you their full attention when providing services. I was there this past Monday, May 31, 2021 to scan documents and have a book bound around 1:00PM. That female employee was extremely helpful with a wonderful personality. I apologize for not looking at your name tag nor asking your name. She completed the bound notebook in less than one hour as promised with a smile. She may remember that I returned in motorcycle gear to pick it up. She came right over to ask how she could assist. I said, "I'm here for my book that was bound." She immediately chuckled and said, I didn't recognize you with the helmet. I really do look different with all that motorcycle gear on. Again with a smile, she retrieved my book for review. It was perfect. Apologies for not asking your name. You are AWESOME. The second acknowledgement needs to be offered to Brian. This gentleman was phenomenal. I needed to price check an All-N-One (printer, scannner, copier, & fax machine) and I was about to go to several stores. I left the printing department and wandered over to the printer section. I had glanced at a few and the hero of the evening appeared to genuinely ask and offer his assistance. Brian truly listened to my needs and budget. He escorted me to each printer and explained the components of the machine. I was sold at the second printer. However, it did not stop there. Brian said, "We have more on the other side that I would like to show you." I followed him as he described the difference between laser and ink printers. I was so impressed. He recognized that I was leaning towards a certain printer and he took more time to show off the functionality. Brian then escorted me to the ink cartridge section to show which product's were needed for that printer and offered better option to save money. I was so thrilled at his excellent customer service and I asked to speak with the manager. Melissa came to the Cartridge Department and I gave her a praise report on Brian. Above all, Brian is humble, caring, knowledgeable, respectful, and educated. I believe that comes from a solid family foundation. So Brian, thank your mom, dad, grandparents, teacher's, community leaders, and all other's that nurtured and raised a fine young man. These two individuals I have mentioned above need to be the face of your company's brand. They need to train others in the area of customer service nationwide. By utilizing your best to teach and train up others, you will have a recipe for true success. And you will have healthy happy staff. Thanks to My Staples in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Read moreIf you’re the manager and you’re seeing this, you should know who I am and knew this was coming. I have never encountered such abysmal customer service the 4 years I’ve been here in Jacksonville. It seems that every time I walk through those doors, I am met with a barrage of hostility, condescension, and outright disrespect from the staff. It's as if they have made it their mission to drive away customers with their utter lack of professionalism and basic human respect. My first encounter with the awful service occurred when I attempted to return items. Instead of being greeted with courtesy and understanding, I was met with eye rolls, sighs, and snide remarks from the employee. It was clear that they had no interest in assisting me and were only interested in making me feel like an inconvenience. Thinking it was just a one-time occurrence, I decided to give them another chance when I needed to order business cards. Little did I know that I would be subjected to even more disrespect and incompetence. The employee seemed utterly clueless about their own products and procedures, and instead of offering assistance, they made me feel like I was burdening them with my presence. But the final straw came when I attempted to speak with the manager about the ongoing issues. Shockingly, I discovered that the manager was even worse than the employees. Not only did they fail to address my concerns, but they also displayed the same level of hostility and disrespect that I had experienced from the staff. Fed up with the inexcusable treatment, I reached out to corporate to voice my concerns. While they were apologetic and promised to address the issue, it's clear that the problem runs deep within the store. It's a shame that a store with such potential is being run into the ground by individuals who have no business working in customer service. To the manager, if you happen to read this review, know that your stores lack of professionalism has not gone unnoticed. It's time for a serious overhaul of your staff and management team if you have any hope of salvaging your reputation. In my ten years of experience in customer service, I have never encountered a more poorly managed and disrespectful establishment. I urge everyone to attempt to speak to the manager, if that even helps, when encountering something like this, and if that doesn’t work, call Corporate like I did so this store...
Read moreThe only place I get my ink from. No need for help finding it. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because of the cashier. She is an older lady with sort salt and pepper hair who has the worst customer service I have ever experienced here in Jacksonville . This is not the first time I had to interact with her and I always like to give people a second chance but, because of her I will be buying my ink online. The first time I interacted with her. I presented her with my coupon from my app and she refused to honor it. She said “you people want to get away with everything “ she made me feel like I was asking for a handout. She called someone to come to the front. It must have been the manager. I explained what happened to the manager and all this cashier did was say “no we can’t do that!” The customers waiting on the line where embarrassed for me. The manager explained the issue and apologized. Yesterday I went to buy my ink and I saw this cashier but like I said I like to give second chances. When she saw I was standing on line she looked at me like I was bothering her. She took care of the customers in front of me and I’m guessing she also has to do Amazon returns. She turned around and started talking care of two sets of customers for Amazon returns. I waited for at least 15-20 minutes to pay for my ink. When she came to me she took my used ink cartilage didn’t say a word and scanned my ink. She told me how much it was and I scanned my card. She said “card didn’t go through“ I said impossible but I took out my other card and scanned it in. She rolled her eyes and said card didn’t go through. I looked at the screen it said “waiting for cashier”and I told her what the screen said. She said card didn’t go through with an annoyed look on her face. I told her scan it again. She rolled her eyes and scanned it again. Of course my card went through. She gave me my receipt and walked away without saying a word. If this is the type of person Staples will keep as an employee I’m sorry but you just lost a customer and a good one at that. I’m taking my business to Amazon. If I need to make a return to Amazon I’ll...
