The Tint Wizard — Local services in Jacksonville

I'll preface- The tinting job was GREAT. I randomly called on a Thursday and was able to drop my car off 2 days later. Now that some time has passed since I got the UV and tint done, I can confidently say if you want an excellent looking and clean-to-the edge-of-the-window (I'm talking within an 8th of an inch) tint, I wouldn't consider anywhere else. Unless prices were competitive, but I can't really share anything about that.

HOWEVER: I was told it would take 'about' an hour and a half, I got a text 3 and a half hours later. That's not really an issue right, I wasn't in a huge rush to get my car back. Except upon actually looking through my car later that day, I find tint trash left in my cabin and outside my car. I even found some still on the car when I was at the shop and mentioned it. I'd expect a little clean up of your trash if you were gonna work on someone's car. Secondly, I found a large broken piece of a weathering seal and both inner rear-window garnishings had clips broken on the inside (it pops off, they ripped it downwards).

Tl;dr the tinting job was awesome, 0 complaints, super clean. But they left their trash in my cabin after 3 hours of work and broke some interior...

Amazing service! -I came by one day & asked about what they would recommend for my car & asked about what tints I could add onto my car (I just bought an SUV after only ever having sedans and wanted to put the correct thing on) & the girl was so sweet and helpful! -I asked prices for the specific tint she was recommending & she knew it right off the bat. -Appointment process was easy & quick! -My car was done in less time than the 2hr time frame that they predicted (which I appreciated greatly because I had to wait up front for my car). -They were very sweet, offered me water, & turned the tv on when they started working on my car and knew I’d be waiting. -They told me about different options like waiting the 72 hours to roll windows down or to pay a little more to use the windows instantly. Although I chose to wait the 72 hours the other option was VERY cost effective & I appreciated that option being communicated because if I lived on base that would’ve been a total life saver. I just recently bought a new (to me) Chrysler 300 and failed the inspection because the tint that the previous owner had was way to dark. I had asked the shop owner who he suggested to have the tint removed and replaced and he suggested the Tint Wizard. I went there and the staff was friendly and the quality of service was better than I could have expected.

When the work was done, I had a chance to speak with the owner and ask a few questions about detailing my car. Unfortunately, it was not a service that they offered at the moment, but it was something that he had extensive experience and knowledge in and so I asked if he was willing to make an exception and detail my car. He did and he went WAY above and beyond what I would have ever expected. My car is no longer just "new to me" but now it looks, feels and smells new.

Overall, I am very please with the quality of services recieved and I will refer them to anyone I know who needs tint work done or their vehicles detailed . . . even if they don't tychnically offer detailing as...
