City Fresh Market — Attraction in Jefferson Township

The parking lot is TIGHT, but there is a spare parking across the street. Large selection of halal meat at a great price. No public restrooms. The 🥖 French bread is the best I've tried from several markets! The ready made food- counter region is gorgeous 🥰 more stores should do this. I show up for the already grilled chicken breasts and slice in half to make a chicken Caesar salad and a chicken sandwich. It's so tasty and juicy. This is a better than a restaurant, or buying that ready made chicken that's stewing in PFAS bags/containers at other grocery stores.

I've been coming here for several months now, I met the manager Amina, she walked me through the counter and offered for me details on some of the items.

I love this store. I always enjoy coming in here and buying all kinds of neat produce and fresh deli items. I love the bread selection in the store. Not your conventional bread. They don't believe in that in this store. You get hearty breads. You get good breads. Good polish and German and Russian Breads in here. Rye bread Stark Rye breads the whole nine yards of Breads in here. Cheeses fresh deli meats. You get things that you probably won't find in a conventional Supermarket. I even saw Amish Country butter in here. And you know you're not going to find that too many places. They got your vegan items they got your fresh organic produce items they have your fruits in your veggies and everything that you want. Imported chocolate and candy. They have it. They have imported beer and a lot of...

Edit: I gave them another chance. They are definitely very good and carry a wide variety of dairy, meat, deli, and produce. Just be sure to check the dates and select refrigerated items carefully.

Not so fresh! Second time the milk has not been fresh. The first time, I didn’t say anything. The second time I brought them both back but I didn’t have a receipt. My bad! This place is more of a convenience store and you have to be careful about what’s fresh and what’s not. So save your receipts and you only have 24 hours to return items. I won’t say I will never come back, but it will be a very long time. Maybe, perhaps, inconvenience. But, I just can’t trust the dairy...
