I came in with my wife to buy this Instant Pot. The price tag right below it clearly showed a big “Sale!” at $74.99. Naturally, we thought that was the deal. At checkout, surprise—it was actually $139.99 because the tag belonged to a different product. Instead of admitting the mistake, the employees tried to make it seem like it was our fault for “not reading carefully.” On top of that, they brushed us off like being Latino somehow meant we couldn’t tell the difference. That’s insulting and humiliating. A store this big should know how to label shelves correctly and, at the very least, treat paying customers—and their families—with respect.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Target. The price tags in the kitchen appliances section were completely misleading. The Instant Pot was placed right above a sale tag for $74.99, but when I went to the register, it rang up at $139.99. This is unacceptable and very frustrating. It is clearly the store’s responsibility to place the correct label under the correct product, and customers should not have to deal with this kind of confusion. It feels like false advertising and a waste of time.

Complete joke. I order this online and it took over an hour for them to say “out of stock”. My wife goes to the shelf and finds a shelf full of the same item I ordered. Reps in the store were patronizing and completely unprofessional to my wife. I will be calling management to voice my displeasure and will be shopping at another target moving forward.

On 05/27/2020 my mother and wife had one of the worst experiences that they have ever had in a Target. They went to purchase some groceries and they came up to the cash register to place all the items on the conveyor belt and pay. After my mother put her card in the pin pad, the cashier told her she was good to go with the transaction and they took their items from the counter were the bags were and went to the car. When they were putting their items in the car, a target employee came outside and ask my wife to come back inside for a minute. When she went back inside, they told her only $25 was processed and she had to pay the remaining balance of the transaction. My wife told her no problem and she went ahead and put my mother’s card in the pin pad and processed the card again as credit like they did the 1st time around. The lady told her she has to use it as debit so my wife let them know that it is my mother’s card and said she can go and get her and she offered to leave her phone with them as collateral so they won’t think they would drive off and steal the items. The manager told my wife no problem and my wife went to go and get my mother. Not even a minute later, my mother comes back outside telling my wife that they told her she has to bring all the items and that they couldn’t pay for the rest of the balance with cash nor card. My wife goes back inside the store and ask the manager why they can’t use either of those payment methods and they told her she can’t buy any of the items they want it. When my wife asked her well what about the $25 that was processed in the beginning, the manager told her that they can’t refund the $25. My mother goes to her account and see that target already charged her for the $25 and shows the manager the charges and that she had the money on the account to pay for the remaining that was owed. The manager told her she has to call the bank to dispute the transaction. That’s not how customers should be treated and being told there is no other solution but to turn back all the items they came to your location to purchase and dispute a transaction that was initially told that it was processed successfully! Absolutely...

Today I decided that I was going to go dorm shopping because I have recently been accepted into one of the top art schools in the US. I was getting the main things that I mostly needed; towels, washcloths ,pencil holder And a pot set Etc. little did I know when I went to self checkout I would have a disgusting interference with one of the target employees. As I was scanning my stuff, the machine Start to act up as you know the self checkout systems do not work that great. So I keep getting a screen that prompts please place item in the bagging area. It goes away then I continue. As I continue, I open the next bag and then surprisingly an associate comes up to me She does not greet me nor does she have a smile she opens my bag to see if anything was inside of it. I look at her confused because this Was a surprising experience she then smiled, walked away and said just make sure you were scanning everything I looked at her with a strange look, cause I was So confused. I then continued, but she still stood right behind me and stared me down. I knew I was being racially profiled. But since she was standing over there, I decided to tell her that my Student discount Wasn’t applying to my purchase. She then rudely said I have no idea what you are talking about. Then she calls somebody on the walkie to the Front end. The manager, I guess comes up and she says student discount? I have no idea what you are talking about that was last Week. So then I replied and told her well, It was on your Target circle app since I am a circle member a membership that I paid for every month to make sure I get benefits, especially since I am planning to attend college this fall. I show her where it’s a student discount and she tells me well. I’ll put it on this time but next time I won’t be able to do the same. I think That the person who was also profiling me was also somebody who was about my age this makes me worried about the next generation that I am a part of. I hope that no one has to go through the same experience that I did. And I encourage target corporate to teach your employees...

I've had some good experiences at this Target, and one mediocre one. So the other day I came here because I wanted to get one of those mini pizzas from the Pizza hunt inside all targets. So went there and walked around a bit and found a plushie of my favorite pokemon. This pokemon is based on a sheep, but it's color scheme is yellow and black so it kind of looks like a bee. So I buy the pokemon plushie and then go over to the mini food court, and the lady takes my order. She notices the plushie and says she loves bees. And then she asks me if I've seen the Bee movie. I say I've seen bits and parts of it, though what I really mean, is that I've seen the bee movie but speed up fast every time they say the word bee. And she says it's her favorite movie. And then she tells me the entire plot of the movie. Anyway, I think it's nice that there is someone out there who genuniely, non ironicly loves the bee movie. That is what this target gave me. Another experience I've had here was on Black thursday. Which is when black friday begins on the Thanksgiving. I wanted to get Super Mario Maker for the Wii U. I looked on the Target's website and they said they had it in stock. So I drag my sister to stand in line with me, and we wait like twenty minutes, and then we get inside. I make my way to the video game section. I get to Wii U section and do not see Mario Maker. I still have my phone up, and I refresh to make sure they still have the game in stock. They do. SO I go find an employee, and ask him about it. He looks at the exact place that I looked and said I don't think we have any. And I tell him that the internet says they should, and he has some red thing that I guess is connected to the target intranet services, and he finckes with it and says "oh yeah there should be one, but it's not here. So I don't know what to tell you." I don't know either dude, didn't feel like you handled that with competence. Anyway. Overall it's just a target, what are you expecting. It's clean, and nicer...
