During 3 months I was searching for a good place to install my 3 way channel dash cam direct to my car battery for the parking mode stay on even with the car off. I went to different places including Professional Sound Security System. I learned that I have to look for 4 important things: Professionalism, Customer Service, Warranty and Price. In my journey I found cheaper price but nothing else, others no warranty, in others, I was treated bad because I am not an expert. I checked YouTube and trust me this kind of installations are not a game or something to figure it out because the electric part of your car is in the middle. When it comes to my car I prefer to pay a little extra but with peace of mind that everything will be fine. Professional Sound Security System have all the 4 things together. As soon as I arrived at the business, Dave treated me very well, as if I were a long time customer when he realized that I had no knowledge of installing the cameras, Dave was very gently and politely explained, how was the process; clear and transparent. I selected Professional Sound & Security based on myriad positive reviews regarding Dave and his service and needless to say, he did not disappoint. As a matter of fact Dave was the consummate professional and I would highly recommend his services. Let’s start with the fact that I know nothing about dash cams except from the research I’ve conducted on the internet. I purchased a decent unit however I’m astute enough to know my limitations when it comes to my technical prowess. I researched outfits within proximity which offer instalation and Professional Sound and Security in Jersey City was one of the closest to me. Dave was very accommodating when it came to scheduling an appointment and fit me right in; he even called to confirm on the day of. Upon arrival, he was very welcoming and gracious and provided me with options depending on my budget and needs. What I enjoyed most is he never pushed for more expensive routes, he simply adhered to what was best for me which I found to be very professional. I can say only great things about Dave and his team. Dave's tech Vincent did a custom install of a double din head unit, backup camera, subwoofer and video. The install in my suv is discussed on the internet as a complicated one because of the factory head unit sending can-bus signals and it being tied into the factory amp. Professional Sound completed their clean install with no hitches.

Prior to this install I had a seperate issue trying to get a high end aux out connector to work with the factory head unit. Ultimately it didn't work out and I wound up going the route suggested by Dave initially; a double din head unit. But that wasn't before Dave and Vincent worked tirelessly for hours trying to get it to work. They contacted the mfg company's tech support. They applied firmware upgrades and a host of other steps recommended by their tech support. The unit just didn't work for my factory head unit and the company issued a return authorization for their aux out unit.
