Heights Plaza — Local services in Jersey City

I go to Walgreens at least once a day to get my husband his tins (Skoal tobacco tins). The stores themselves within the plaza are great, nothing to complain about. However, the outside is horrendous. There are ALWAYS at least 35-50 men standing around. 90% of them drunk & drinking. From early AM to night. I presume to wait for someone to offer a job (construction/painting/etc..) yes, most of them are Spanish/Latino descent. So they "catcall," they're drunk and biligerent. Sometimes fighting one another. I'm asking for money for beer. I'm trying to hold doors open to get a dollar. And there some that wipe down your car lights and do one so you see & have to pay for the other to be done. They do this without ur permission or knowledge while ur inside a store. There are tons of garbage & people sleeping on the sidewalk outside the fence to the Plaza. Cops have been trying to scoot them out, but they come back every single day. It's sad because the stores themselves are clean & nice inside. The staff in them are all nice & professional. But due to the people outside there's tons of theft from the stores & so now tons of items have to be locked up and u have to wait for someone to unlock...

Bought chicken from the small market and it turned out to be terribly bad. I don't live in that area so I could not return it or complain. But the chicken's sell by date wasn't for another 5 days and it was below freezing that day so there was no reason for the chicken leg quarters to have gone bad. I bought 4 packages of 2 leg quarters each, at 0.49 cents a pound each... all went straight to the garbage. A waste...
