Spencer's — Attraction in Johnson City

Second time this week that I've bought something and it's messed up when I open it. And I even had the clerk look at it cause the box was damaged and she says it's because they've had it awhile and her two associates nod in agreement. Then I asked her to check if everything was there and she pulls it out and says see it hasn't even been out of the plastic. Which it did look like it hadn't, I should have had her pull it all out. Went there today because we shop there often and I had a coupon for $5 off of $25. I wanted to purchase a new water bottle for my daughter. Well needless to say that didn't happen. The water bottle was $24.99 so the employee said that I could not use the coupon it would not work and there's nothing they could do about it for ONE PENNY!!! Are you kidding me that's just bad customer service and a way to make you spend more money for things you don't need. Was a very loyal customer shop there very often not anymore because of the pettiness I guess I'll be Petty too and we're done shopping...

I feel like their manager and employees working at Spencer's friday night lied to me and refused to return an item that they claimed would be cheaper, etc. I started doing the math in my head and literally walked right back in there to return, which they refused. It's absurd the customer service I was given. I will never do business with this place. I've never been so alarmed by a store, not to mention where they were understaffed, but it was the worst experience I've encountered from a place I've done business with since a child.
