The selection is killer, the products have love poured into them, and the staff is so welcoming. Keep an eye out for their events, community is clearly important to this shop.
We visited Joshua Tree for the holidays, trying to avoid the cold, and we anticipated hiking the desert and relaxing by the pool.
We swung through JT Trading Post on a whim to see if we could nab some last minute gifts as we hadn't traveled with anything.
We shopped past closing time and instead of being hustled out, we were offered the opportunity to hang out while they wrapped for the day. We ended up talking about the area, work, family, and more. After finding out we didn't have much to pump the holiday spirit, JTTP hooked us up with a tree, ways to decorate it, and more.
Out stay in Joshua Tree would be vastly different without our experience here....
Read moreAs a lifelong resident, I had never visited the JT Trading Post, until now. What a shame because I can see how poping it could be during tourist season. It's still was a nice experience during the 100 degree heat of summer (nice and cool inside) but according to the very nice staff in the winter they have a lot going on, such as live music, vender booths, selfie station and more.
