Nice little novelty Asian store that has a lot of cute little things'and a lots of different things, first time I was @ this location & I prefer the 1 on westheimer it seems to have different stuff @ the one closer to me and more of a variety, but I did fine some new pens so that was a win, but @ my store on westheimer I found sloth wrapping paper, which sloths are the greatest, most of the items in store are $1.50, but there are some things that cost more they also sell Asian snacks as well(drinks, sweet breads, & cookies (Poki) & chips which start off @ $1.50 to like $3.00 for the food items, whey carry make up (not sure if it is any good) or not, but their pens write with that perfect gel style and they are mostly cutie decor pens. So if you like pens like me you just hit the jack pot if you go to either one of these store, but let me tell you this important little note: "NO EXCHANGE, NO REFUNDS", so you know that before you go in I am fine with the no refund thi g , but if I get a pen that doesn't work I want to be able to exchange it, and you can't test them in the store cause their "DO NOT OPEN PKG. POLICY" which I completely understand as well but I buy a lot of pens at a time thank God I have not had any problems with any of them so far. But the store is clean they gets trucks I believe every other day & I was told as soon as they take it off the truck they start to stock items, which sounds great to someone who just goes out looking to see what's few out there.... So if you are in the area on Mason Rd. Next to 99 Ranch, or on Westheimer where the old Blockbuster Video, & Whole foods was at then stop buy and see what you can get. Christmas is here and you could even make cute little baskets for friends w/some of the things I have seen, I did a craft one for an art teacher and she loved it, so many possibilities, but you be...
Read moreYour doller store is way above any other. I find so many wonderful and useful(for the most part) products here. Probably because Japanese standards are higher on average but if you are going to sell here in America I think that you need to make a few adjustments. The socks for one did not fit. They were far too short. I had to give them to an eight year old girl because they did not even fit the twelve year old girl who tried them on. Come on people! Do all Japanese women have child size feet? I thought that was in the past or the past of other countries? But all of your other products have been very helpful and/or beautiful. Only the lint remover did not work and shower scrubber was not stiff enough to scrub away anything(I had to go back to a sponge which was hurting my hands and back). It seems as though the products that are meant to be functional are the ones that are not working as well. Only the products meant for beauty, decoration, fun, writing, eating, drinking, and consuming seem to work well which is great but if you could work on your functional products as well that would be great too. Also I live I Conroe and the only time I get to go to Daiso is when I'm in the Katy area. If you ever open up a new Diaso a Conroe would location would be great! Thank you for such a great wonderful store...
Read moreI have never had a poor experience at Daiso until now. The cashier wearing a mask with colored hair has such an attitude problem. If making the customer feel stupid is her job, then sheâs doing a very good job at it!
I hadnât realized that the fake flowers were sold separately since they have them rubber banded together, and instead of explaining it to me like a normal person, she told me, âYou realize these are $1.75 each, right?â with a MASSIVE attitude. Like yes, itâs my mistake for not realizing it, but there is a much nicer way to say this to someone. Also, when an item rang up as $1.85 instead of $1.75, she did the exact same thing. The entire time, she treated me as if I could not afford an item that was $1.85 and like I was stupid.
If you donât know how to speak to customers, you shouldnât be on register and at the front end...
