Visited on a Wednesday morning. The folks there were really friendly and gave us a tour of the exhibits. They were patient with my elementary school age younger siblings too. Lots of interesting artifacts especially if you have an appreciation of US military history. Good to see they have a community set up for veterans of foreign wars, it's always important that vets have a place to meet up and build new friendships. Read moreA truly special place in Katy. I went here this morning to do a paper for college and being a future member of the military this museum delivered in both ways. I was met by a group of veterans who welcomed me and asked me about myself. I then went on a one on one tour with one of the vets who I knew loved the history of American war and took me on a fantastic tour of the intricate displays. Read moreMy son and I attended the first community campout at their park next to their facility this weekend. The staff prepared a fabulous set up with outdoor movie, hot dogs, s'mores. Sunday morning provided hot pancakes, coffee, and orange juice in the big VFW hall. The playset in their park is fabulous and my son had a great time playing in the shade.
