Koloa Landing is an incredible dive site that offers a mesmerizing underwater world to explore. The crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life, and stunning coral reefs make it a must-visit spot for divers. During my visit to Koloa Landing, I had the pleasure of diving with Fathom Five Divers, and the experience was outstanding. The team at Fathom Five is not only highly professional but also incredibly passionate about what they do. They provided top-notch equipment and ensured our safety throughout the dive. The guides were knowledgeable and made the dive enjoyable and informative. It's worth noting that there are other dive shops operating in the area, but my experience with Fathom Five Divers was truly exceptional. If you're planning to dive at Koloa Landing, I highly recommend giving them a call. They'll make sure you have an unforgettable underwater adventure while exploring this fantastic dive site.

I may not be reading this place correctly: but it seemed like more of a spot for locals/divers. Down a dirt path we missed the first time. The landing area seemed to be in somewhat of a state of disrepair...if you were to take a boat from the area you would surely hit a rock or two on your way. Still a great place to go Diving from: so many beautiful marine life to see. It does have a historical significance as described by our dive instructor. Not too far off the shore is the site of the "early lava flow", the landing was used as a main port of entry in early Kauai days, and a railroad track used to run on the left side of the landing that was used in the sugar cane days.

The best site on the south shore. From the rare whale (yep), to 'cuda, scorpion fish, coral species, and honu. Used by divers, snorkelers, spear, and fisherpeeps. A long vested history in the local economy this site supported commerce for over a century. Conditions are often hit or miss. Avoid the days after heavy rains.
