Kukuiula Market — Attraction in Kauai

We came here multiple times during our stay in Kauai! The açaí bowls were so yummy! The poke was amazing. I loved the poke nachos - they use wontons instead of tortilla chips and the nachos had so much flavor! The best shave ice on the island is in the parking lot (The Good Stuff Shave Ice). We tried a lot of shave ice places around the island but none even came close to this place! They use fresh purées instead of just syrups (they also have syrups if you like them). Classic local market. Family-run. Lots of fresh local products, especially the fish & poi. Great selection of natural & organic items. Sushi & poke stop in the front of the store. Jiu jitsu 967 located in the back. And cannot forget about 'Anakē's Juice Bar. Loved the Dawn Patrol juice. Super fresh & tangy. Great breakfast refresher. Also the acaì is amazing. I go here for the little cafe in the back- the supermarket part is a joke. Random products in random places. I would never get meat from here. Most shelves were empty. The acai bowl from the back counter though was on another LEVEL!! WOW! Generous portion for a small. So good, will be back for another!
