Phobia Haunted Houses - Kemah Boardwalk — Attraction in Kemah

More like Dungeon of Terrible. Bought the fast pass, no need for since there wasn't a line. Very few actors, and the ones they had were lame. I ended up running into the group in front of me a 1/3 through. They had ran into the group ahead of them. The group behind me catches up, and the group behind them joins our mob. So we, all 15 of the people comprising the 5 groups, shuffled awkwardly through a bland haunted house of twists and no scares. The most terrifying part was the strong sewer odor. At the end the very "original" guy with a chainsaw revved the engine at us as we slowly made our boredom march past him. Let's not forget that Kemah is generally a pain in location, and parking. Some lady working there commented that the day shift is better, so maybe come during the day......

I have always been unimpressed with the haunted house at the boardwalk but I really thought that it might be better now that Phobia took it over. Unfortunately I was completely wrong! The "2" haunted houses it just one haunted house with 2 themes that isn't even as long as most haunted houses that are supposed to be just 1. Also, I maybe saw 3 actors inside the entire time and the animatronic were less scary than the ones I put up in my front yard!! They tried to have alot of darkness and extremely loud noises to make up for everything else but all it did was give me a headache. My 6 year old wasn't even scared! They have some nerve charging $25 a ticket for this place! Save your time and money and go...

So let me start off by saying I love Halloween and I love haunts and I try to go when I can seeing as I have a family and all. My wife and I go but she dont really like them much so I have to start going alone which sucks. So with that being said I went to this haunt alone so I was a lil more nervous then usual. I like the set up and design of everything but man it was a snooze fest. I mean it had potential to be good but they didnt have much workers that were working the haunt that was embarrassing to me. You cant have a haunt and not take pride in it. All in all just a bad experience. Walk away not scared at all and...
