Adams Park — Attraction in Kennesaw

Perfectly serviceable baseball- and softball-centric park. Fields, dugouts, bleachers, fencing, all pretty well maintained. Gave 3/5 stars however because the field naming is inexplicably obtuse: both clusters of 4 fields are numbered 1-4, leading to continuous confusion. Combine with a complete absence of clear signage and every weekend ball tournament becomes a "guess we're getting some extra steps in" experience for all the parents traipsing their little leaguers from one Field 4 to the other. Great if your idea of a park is well manicured lawns between baseball fields and tennis courts. Not great for anything else. In particular, the park seems to have a special hatred for pets and pet owners. There are signs every few feet telling you that pets are not allowed in pretty much every part of the park. Excellent place to play Pokémon Go! I scored 115 Magicarp candies in about three hours. Has enough Pokéstops that it is worth going to for both the walk and items. A very pretty place!
