Update:
Got an email from owner Kyle on 6/30 stating that the store will cover the lost package goods cost. Iâm very pleased with how this was resolved although the timeliness if the store wasnât the best. I change my review from 1â4 stars. On 6/30 kyle sent me an email explaining that they would have the reimbursement ready on Monday 7/1 and I was out of town so I replied stating Iâd be in 7/6 to pick it up. Upon my arrival the check was not ready and the manager had to call Kyle and then write the check.... I thought this was supposed to have already been taken care of?
Original: Went in on June 3 to mail a package to a client. My client has already paid for their order and now I am going to have to pay out of my pocket to replace the products because someone at UPS messes up..... (details below)
Usually I use fedex but the client is a âregistered/preferredâ customer of UPS so they asked me to use UPS. LET ME TELL YALL this is the last time I will use them.
I paid for the envelope and shipping with tracking With an est delivery of 3-5 business days. Got my receipt with a Tracking number on it and and left. Two weeks later (June 17) my client contacts me wondering where their package is.... I tried to pull it up with the tracking number and the tracking number isnât valid???? So I call the UPS store I shipped from and speak with a miss GiGi who is very sweet and polite; she informs me that they outsourced my package to USPS?? And told me I had to get in touch with USPS regarding the package. So I tried tracking with USPS and the tracking number is not valid. So I decided to walk-in and speak to someone at the UPS store I initially paid for and shipped my package from to try and resolve this issue.
On Tuesday June 18, The lady Guylane took my name and number and told me she would investigate and get back to me by Friday; she also recommended that I file a missing package claim with USPS?!?! when I left I called usps and was told that the tracking number was invalid so it was impossible to file missing package claim because no way to track it. đ¤Ź
I never heard back from UPS so I called on Friday June 21 around 2:30 PM and was told that she was in a meeting with the owner Michelle... so again They took my name and number and I awaited a phone call back.
Owner Michelle called back that evening and I missed the call, but called back less than an hour later only to be informed that she was gone and would be back on Monday June 24. So I Went to the store this morning (6/24) and Michelle isnât there. So again left my nAme and number with lady aT regiSter and am still trying to fix this mess.
Why was my package outsourced?? If I wanted USPS I would have gone there to ship the package. Why was I not informed that it was being outsourced at checkout? I would have declined because the client requested UPS specifically. Why was the tracking number invalid??? What is the point of showing it to me at checkout by pointing and saying To me that is the tracking number if it isnât valid??? Why is it now my responsibility to figure out what happened to a package that I paid for and sent properly with UPS... when they are the ones who decided to outsource, without informing me, to USPS which caused the package to get lost in the first place???
I am EXTREMELY upset and disappointed with this entire...
Read moreWe have a business account with them in Jan 2017 and from day one there has been issues. I called ahead to get pricing and confirmed that we were a business and only needed a small box because that is what we had used at 2 pervious UPS stores. When my husband got there, they told him we could only get the larger box and of course it was more expensive. There has been numerous mistakes, but I am going to just cover the two big ones. In April over $15,000 worth of payment were put in the wrong mailbox from 3 different clients. One of them did have the box number reversed, but did they not pay attention to the name on the package? We had to contact our customers and have them reissue new checks and wouldnât you know itâŚ. One was returned to the sender! I was going into the store everyday asking about our mail. You would think that would put a red flag, but their staff is poorly trained as best. The final straw was the delivery of an urgent package for a job that had to be completed that day. We received notice from our vendor that the package was signed for at 10:09 a.m. I called the store and they said that they had not received any packages. I told them our vendor received notice that it has been delivered. Nope.. NO package. Called vendor back and they said a Vanessa signed for it. I call the store again. Do you have a Venessa? Thatâs who signed for it. Nope⌠No Venessa. So, we spent the next two hours trying to track down this package. At 12:54 we received notice from the store that we had a package and it gave the tracking number. I pulled the tracking info and guess who signed for it. No, not a Venessa but Vanessin, who is Vanessin you may ask. The store manager! Really, the person who answered my call could put it together that maybe.. just maybe Venessa could be .. wait for it⌠Vanessin. I called and talked to the manager and she was very sorry for what had happened and asked what could she do. I told her that I could no longer trust them to handle my business mail and packages. That I would think about it over the weekend. I called her back Tuesday and she agreed to refund me the unused part of my 12 months (9 months). On Wednesday morning, I sent notification to my clients updating them on our new shipping, mailing address and sent them updated W9âs. At 1:49 p.m. I received a call from the manager and she wasnât authorized to offer me the refund and the franchise owner was not going to give me one. She did go back to him and ok.. he was going to give me a 3 months refund. Look, she is the manager and she said she would refund us for the 9 months. The owner needs to honor what the manager told me and refund me as she said! Then the manager and owner need to work it out between them. In closing, there are some really great UPS store out there because we have been using them for 9 years but THIS LOCATION ISNâT ONE OF THEM! I did call them one last time to let me them know I was posting this review. He did...
Read moreThis is a review by my friend Justin Soriano. Iâve been a client of Michelle and Kyle for 6-7 years. Iâve been treated with the utmost respect and dignity by them and their staff. Being a disabled individual that is not something Iâm used to. They have done several print jobs for me including posters, t-shirts, business cards, letterhead and envelopes for my business. There was even a point when I needed business cards because of a moving location and it wouldâve been difficult to afford to pay to have them printed. Kyle and Michelle did it for free to help me out. Theyâve also designed a brand new e-commerce website that looks absolutely beautiful at a very good price for all the work theyâve done. And after having more than $17,000 stolen from my business by two individuals, Kyle and Michelle helped to get back on my feet. On top of everything theyâve done for me on a professional level, theyâve brought me food and supplies during the quarantine. They check on me regularly and delivered packages for me when I could not and have overall put me first. I will always appreciate what theyâve done me. Theyâre phenomenal people with a phenomenal business and if you ever need printing, packaging or small business services, and youâre in the Cobb area I suggest you stop and pay a visit. I know you will he treated with respect and get the expert service you deserve. I know...
