Kennesaw Depot Park — Attraction in Kennesaw

I had spent the weekend in Atlanta at my friend's house and with the van parked in the street. Unfortunately, it was either too shady or too cloudy and the battery was down to 18%. Time to find free power to charge up! Plugshare indicated that this was a spot and so here I am.

After plugging the van into an outlet in the park, I took the time to wander around the park. Lots of great walking space as evidenced by three people who were walking the look with and without dogs. On a Sunday afternoon, not much going on but it's clear that this is ready for festivals and such with smooth grass areas and power outlets throughout.

Lovely park, I enjoyed my time...

I go with my father to the famers market on Mondays when I can. Him and my Uncle go every Monday and we love it. The reason for the low rating is that they have taking away all the handicapped parking spots with all the construction going on. My dad has heart and lung problems and has to push and oxygen tank around. Having to push it up that hill exhaust him and he can't enjoy the famers market the way he use to. It's a damn shame because that one of the very few outtings he goes on he really enjoys. The others consists of Dr. Appointments who...

This place is special to me. And always will be, I return there sometimes. I fell in love at that park with someone in May 2024. I remember it was lightning off in the distance. I will never forget that night or the beauty of the park. It’s a beautiful place to go with a loved one. Always in my mind. And I hope if that special person reads this she knows this park will always remind me of her and that special night in the tunnel....
