Publix Pharmacy at Cobb Parkway — Local services in Kennesaw

Pharmacies everywhere are filling more prescriptions than ever before and pharmacy staffs are often hard pressed to get everyone’s prescription filled quickly and accurately. But this particular pharmacy there is no excuse for. They do not answer the phone or check for electronic or voicemail scripts called in from providers. I’ve had to call the store to see if they are even open just to be told they are but they don’t answer the phone. When you get there to pick up your script they rudely tell you they don’t have it until you tell them to check the voicemail and then they tell you it will be ready in an hour. When you come back to the store over an hour later they are still not ready. The pharmacist and the staff are rude like you are expecting too much just to get your script filled so you can start it. We have had two urgent care visits in the last 6 weeks and both times the experience has been the same. I work in healthcare myself and if I treated my job and my patients in this manner I would expect to be fired. I will be calling corporate. Love this Publix and its staff. Unfortunately, the Pharmacy needs some major additional oversight or extra training. Several recent trips to this Pharmacy location have seen them not check messages for hours when docs call in Rx. They also have staff with ESL/communications issues working in the pharmacy that cannot understand clearly spoken information. This isn't to judge that person but they cannot be in a position that involves health & safety while not able to understand the customer/patients. They may be great at another position in the pharmacy but NOT interacting with a customer or looking up medications/prescriptions. I have no idea why publix not only in this location but all over , their prices are 3 times Walmart and 4 times aldi . I don't know what publix CEO think 🤔? Same products, same quality no difference whatsoever except has a publux sticker 😆. I guarantee you ALDi sell better products with affordable price .
