We have notified management of the issue below and have not received a response. We had several issues with our recent rental on Sat, 7/19/25. I toured the hall three times prior to my event. The first two times were with the same front desk staff. And the hall was setup for an event. I explicitly asked if the rental came with the linen, and I was told it did. I inquired if I had color options with the linen and she stated the only option was black.
On my third visit, I inquired about adding four hi-boys to the setup. The linen for the hi-boys was navy, which matched my event colors. I inquired again about the linen color choices; this time it was a different staff member working. She informed me that the linen was only for official Kennesaw Parks events and was not included in the rental. I’m so grateful I asked (A THIRD TIME) because I would have had to scramble the day of my event.
The day of the event was disappointing. I arrived for setup an hour after my vendors had been onsite. One of my vendors informed me the women’s restroom was dirty and stated when she informed the gentleman working the front desk, he asked her if she was the Renter, and did not help her. I immediately went to the restroom and saw the feces around the toilet rim in one stall, a second stall with filled with urine with an excessive amount of toilet tissue, and a wet countertop. I alerted the gentleman and he cleaned it. Why did it take me to say something?
We paid for AV/audio which was not setup. The front office staff had to call around for nearly 20 minutes to get someone to come fix the audio. We paid for a stage which was not setup. The band had to setup the stage themselves. Also, we couldn’t access the string lights ON switch. So we were unable to enjoy the full ambiance of the event hall. The audio/AV tech informed me the cord with the switch was rolled up towards the ceiling and could not be reached.

Read moreI was very disappointed with the service. I have rented at this place a dozen times and this is the first time I had a bad experience. I reserved a room for baby shower and was told the tables were round. I paid an extra hour to have time to decorate. I get there to find out that the tables set up were square. The young lady at the desk said she didn’t know who reserved it but that room doesn’t have round table set up. By the time we found the right table cloths guests had already started arriving so it was not fully ready. I asked the young lady if I could stay a little longer for the inconvenience and she said yes and that she was going to notate it. The room we had looked dingy and the ceiling fans was not working. It was very hot in the room. So today they tried to charge me for the extra time so I called and Alyssa was rude and stated that she was keeping me deposit for the extra time even though the young lady said we could. Read moreI recently attended an event here and the place is in bad shape!! We had a slideshow prepared, but were unable to watch it because of technical issues. An IT guy involved in our event stated that the wall port was messed up. The sound was also horrible. They have little speakers hanging from the ceiling, but they must have been the cheapest speakers that they could find. Eventually, the mic stopped working.
If you are looking for a place to hold an event, I am recommending that you find another location besides this one. This venue is in bad shape and needs some major updating on...
