Removery Tattoo Removal & Fading — Attraction in Kirkwood

Okay, I’m not a person who typically leaves reviews, because let’s be honest no one REALLY has rime for that. BUT, in this particular case, I feel that it’s necessary.

I have a “few” tattoos that I’ve had treated. I’ve been to a removal place in a tattoo shop (had a tattoo treated 2x) and saw little to NO movement with those sessions. It wasn’t the most comfortable environment for what most people feel is an unpleasant experience to start with.

I then switched to another well-known tattoo laser removal company. They were clean, mostly professional (the tech drove me insane because honestly they wouldn’t stop talking about elves), and I did see results between sessions. What I didn’t like about this company is that they give you a quote for how many sessions it will take to remove the tattoo and give you an overall price that needs to be paid BEFORE treatments even start. Honestly, it’s taken more treatments than was quoted and I’m still not super excited, and this company that I’m referring to doesn’t follow up with you for appointments, you have to follow up with them. Again, we can be forgetful and that’s a serious disservice to clients.

Now, my experiences at Morphd have been COMPLETELY different than the precious two places I mentioned above. Cassie is AMAZING to work with! She’s a very friendly, knowledgeable tech when it comes to removal, and she’s QUICK, so the treatments have been tolerable without any sort of numbing treatment before a session. For anyone that’s familiar with removal, THIS IS A DEAL BREAKER! I have seen THE MOST MOVEMENT in only two sessions for a tattoo that I’m currently fading for a cover-up than I have at any other place I have been to. Cassie follows up with her appointments, reschedules right on the spot, and sends out reminder notifications before your appointments. The environment itself is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Cassie gives you a quote by the size of your piece and locks that price in. You are NOT locked into a contract, and pay per treatment! Another big bonus! I would have saved so much money and pain had I just been seeing Cassie for all of my treatments, it’s unreal.

Edit 4/20/2024: I am continuing my treatment plan with amazing results. Recently I asked for my original photos of my 1/2 sleeve and couldn't believe the progress over the past year... it honestly looks like I may be a few treatments away from reclaiming my arm. As always, Amanda and Kayla from the Kirkwood location are simply amazing... friendly, courteous, and professional are a few words that come to mind.

2023: I've been to a few different companies providing tattoo removal and Removery is hands down the best experience yet. For me, it's an uncomfortable experience especially when your tattoos simply aren't "you" anymore, but the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel very comfortable. Kayla at the Kirkwood location is absolutely wonderful... she is informative, patient, and very knowledgeable about treatment strategies and expected outcomes. Take it from someone who has been to multiple other laser treatment centers, the lump sum payment/laser for life is the ONLY way to go. When I had my first tattoo removed, the staff wouldn't quote me on a timeline, but gave me their best guess of 8 treatments. 14 treatments later, I still wasn't satasfied with progress and having to reach deeper into my pockets. Removal is contingent on a variety of unique factors, so it's best to buy the entire removal package than to pay as you go. I chose this place based on google reviews. However, I got very disappointed. It's been more than 40 days from the end of my 3 session treatment and I got absolutely no results! I wanted to improve the skin pigmentations on my face (I knew I couldn't make them disappear) and paid $480 to Morphd which went straight down the drain! My husband was against this treatment but I went anyway and waited for 40 days since my third (and last) treatment before writing this review, but absolutely nothing changed with the sunspots on my face! I noticed I'm not getting any result after my first and second treatment, I asked the technician about how long it will take to see improvements, the only answer I got each time was: "This is a gradual process."
