Blues Fired Pizza — Restaurant in Kirkwood

As a 1 day visitor (Cardinals game), I had this place circled as my "unique meal" experience and it didn't disappoint!

Very neat setup. Located in the hospital's parking lot. Took me a second to find even with GPS (wasn't expecting that!), but love the small building and that there's two food trucks.

Only took ~5 minutes to cook both of our pizzas. They're 8" I believe, but PLENTY filling enough. We got the cheese with cheddar added. The crust was crisp but not overcooked. The dough on the bottom was lightly charred, just how you would want a fired pizza to be. We both annihilated our pizzas as they were scolding hot in the parking lot. Somehow didn't weld the roof of our mouths shut.

Next time, I would try a flavor with more toppings. But definitely recommend if you want a quick pizza with a different taste...

This place doesn’t even deserve 2 stars. The food truck came around to my workplace, so my boss and a few coworkers and I decided to order. While the lady taking our order was nice, the experience quickly soured. After my coworkers and I received our pizzas, a man from the truck asked if we were still waiting for anything. My boss said she hadn’t received her pizza, but the man rudely insisted that all the pizzas had been given out. Despite our corrections, he argued with my boss, which was extremely unprofessional. Eventually, it turned out that the lady had made a mistake, and my boss did get her pizza since she had paid for it. However, the man never apologized for his behavior. His rudeness and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. I will never go to this food truck again. The service...

This was my first experience with Blues Fired Pizza, and I was not disappointed by either of my choices. I visited the Food Truck. They were efficient making the pizzas, which are the perfect size.

For my first order, I got the Margherita Pizza. It was tasty. The sauce was a little on the spicy side, and I tend to prefer a sweet sauce for my Margherita pizzas. It was still solid.

I then ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza. This was fantastic. The components all complemented each other perfectly. This was my first experience with pineapple on a pizza, and I was very pleased. So pleased, in fact, that I had to order a second BBQ Chicken Pizza.

Three pizzas in one evening was not too bad. I could have eaten two more, but I had to be somewhat tame. I look forward to trying their...
