Hays CISD Performing Arts Center — Attraction in Kyle

Seating is comfortable and plenty for large performances. My daughter had a dance recital here and I was amazed how much people could be seated. The entire parking lot and overflow lots were full. The sound system is ok, but perhaps they could make it better in the future. The front atrium is also huge and there are large rooms available if you need to use that space as well. This is a very nice and clean facility, but the facility does not provide staff or volunteers to guide guests. If your program does not provide ushers, you are expected to find your way around alone.

Most of the time, that won't be a problem, it's not such a large building that you can't find what you need easily, but if you're in a hurry it may be frustrating.

This is a terrific venue! I have a unique perspective in that I have been an audience member and a performer here. It's very spacious backstage for musicians, props and sets and it's quite comfortable and luxurious for the audience!. The staff is helpful and always present.
