I can’t say enough good things about this shop! The staff here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned TCG player. They create such a positive atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

One of my favorite things they offer is the Pokémon Academy event, especially designed for kids to learn how to play the Pokémon TCG. It’s such a great way for younger players to get into the game, meet new friends, and build confidence through fun, hands-on learning. You can tell the team truly cares about growing the community and making the game accessible to everyone.

In an area where there aren’t many Pokémon TCG events, this shop has become such an important gathering place. When I was first getting into OPTCG, I was going around and trying many LCS in/around Austin. I happened to go to Tako for one of their OPTCG nights because they were at the edge of my distance radius, thinking it would just be a one time thing.
