Panda doesn’t give samples anymore? Disappointing. I even told them my kids have never eaten here before. Got an order of the honey walnut shrimp because my 7 yo son likes shrimp and he thought it looked good, but he didn’t like it at all. I ate it, and honestly it’s pretty gross. So much sugar and oil. I peeled off the breading and he ate like 2 but still said it’s bad. And he’s right. The teriyaki chicken is oily too. They need to just chill out and have like one healthy meat that’s not coated in sugar and oil.
My 6 yo son review: “I give it one star. I love the rice, but I do not like the spaghetti [chao mein] or the shrimp. And that’s the end of my interview.”
My 5 yo daughter review: “I love Panda Express and I love the orange chicken and the rice. I’m giving it two stars.” [edited for clarity]
My 5 yo son review: “I love orange chicken and rice and noodles and I put 70 stars on there. I love Panda Express.”
Upon speaking with the twins maybe I was too harsh. But I’m sticking with my guns. When they get their own Google accounts they can leave a more positive review. And they freaking love the fortune cookies. So...
Read morePanda Express in Lake Havasu has consistently underperformed, despite its potential. Each visit is marked by long wait times, disorganized service, and frequent issues with orders—particularly with missing sauces or incorrect items.
The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Staff interactions are minimal or unfriendly, and the atmosphere in the lobby is often uncomfortable, with little engagement from employees. Cleanliness is another concern; the dining area frequently appears neglected.
The drive-thru is chaotic, with traffic frequently backing up and causing congestion in the parking lot. On a recent visit, three cars—including mine—chose to leave the drive-thru entirely due to the delay.
It’s disappointing because the food itself is good, and there are limited fast-casual Asian options in the area. This location has the potential to serve the community well but falls short in execution. I’ve reached out to corporate in the past, but improvements have been minimal. As a customer, I hope to see this location raise its standards to better reflect the Panda...
Read moreThis review concerns two separate visits..the first one I ordered the big plate with teriyaki chicken, shrimp and the string bean dish and extra noodles but upon opening my takeout order..did not have any teriyaki chicken at all ..only the string bean one had chicken but very little and the shrimp usually has between 6 and 8 pieces only had 3 and on top of all that the noodles were very scant and contained mostly onion sans noodles..omg that really sucked as I was to far away to return it so for 42 bucks I got the unwelcome privilege of going hungry that night...however since they normally provide huge portions of good food i tried it again..this time watching like A hawk all is back to normal..great food and actually couldn't even eat it all hence the high rating here..must have gotten the bottom of the barrel on the prior order and mistakes happen but they are very good normally and I'll continue going there just with greater vigilance so my starvation night is never repeated..I def still...
