I went to see the hummingbirds for the Hummingbird Xtravaganza and it was amazing! I gave 4 stars because of the prices of things but I understand it's for the organization and it's upkeep. For anyone though that loves nature and birds this was spectacular! Not only did I enjoy the native plant sale (which is also self serve any time of the week you can pick up a plant and pay for it at the main building by the way!) they were also banding and letting you symbolically adopt a hummingbird! They had tables and a waiting area so you could see them band each bird and if you adopted one you could see your bird before they released it again! Several areas were also available with kids activities and educational things about wildlife! The volunteers were super nice and helpful, as well as patient, when I was asking about certain plants. All in all I enjoyed myself just walking around and enjoying the outdoors looking at the beautiful native plants they had planted and seeing the tiny tiny little...

I was there on May 8, so I missed the migratory birds but I still enjoyed my...

The mail box on the nearest house had the name...
