My friend and I visited this nail salon last Wednesday morning to get a manicure and pedicure, and I can safely say it was the worst nail experience Iâve ever had. When we came in it wasnât busy at all, but we werenât greeted. Instead, a guy walked over and tossed two pads at us with instructions to fill them out and then to pick a color on the wall. We did so and were seated in two pedicure chairs. Starting out, my water was barely warm and my friend and I werenât offered a beverage. No big deal, I thought, maybe itâs an off day. Nope. The lady doing my toes then whipped out a rotary sander (the one they use for acrylic nails), and started using it to remove my toenail polish!! I asked her what she was doing and she just laughed and put it away. What the heck? At this point, there was also a guy doing my nails. He seemed distracted by something going on in the next room and was NOT paying attention to what he was doing with my nails. He ended up cutting me badly three times with the nipper. I was bleeding pretty badly near my cuticles, but did he seem phased? Nope. Not even a little bit. I honestly donât know where this guy got his license to do nails or if he even has one at all. He was the worst nail tech Iâve ever had, and Iâve been getting my nails done for 20 years. Every coat he put on my nail was painfully thin, like he was scraping ALL of the polish off of the brush and then trying to apply it to my nail. He put a total of 9 (yes, NINE!! 2 base coat, 5 color, 2 top coat) coats of shellac on each hand and had me under the dryer for 1 minute each time. After the 5th time, my nails began to burn under the dryer. I let him know and he gave me a look like I wasnât cooperating. Even with all of these coats, I left with polish that you could still see through to my nail bed, I kid you not. When it was finally over, I breathed a sigh of relief, paid, and left with my friend. The end result looked as if a child painted my nails. Hangnails galore, dry skin around the nails, streaky and see-through shellac that felt gummy and rubbery when dry. It was the worst. I say âwasâ because the shellac had already peeled off 4 days later. If I had to rate this place on a 10-point scale I would give it a -10!! I will never be back and recommend that future patrons AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. That is unless you like to be cut, patronized, and made to feel like an...
Read moreI will not come back to this place. They cut corners anyway they can. Never once saw them grab a sanitized instrument. They were passing tools back and forth between pedicures including nail clippers and a brush to wipe off the feet. When I say passing I mean during the service between toes they were sharing tools. Pretty sure they use MMA powder which is illegal and cancer causing. I also saw multiple toes and finger with fungus and they were doing services. I was getting my nails done but told them to soak off and I would leaveâŚshe started trying to rip the acrylic nails offâŚI stopped her and told her I wanted them soaked off and I donât want nail damage. She giggled and brought out the bowl to soak themâŚthen while one hand was soaking she grabbed the other and used nippers to try to pry the nail offâŚI said what are you doing? She giggled and said she was helping me and to tell her if it hurtâŚ.absolutely not. There is no reason to ever peel off acrylic. There is no benefit to your nail. It just saves them time while damaging your nailsâŚthis place needs a visit...
Read moreI've been going here since they opened and I've never had this bad of a visit. Very rushed, very rude , sloppy job, she cut my nail and hurt me twice. She seemed very inexperienced. She also was on her phone when my nails were soaking. She never tried to talk to me or be nice. When I asked a question about a white spot on my nail she gave me a rude response. She said what do you want me to take it all off so I can prove you wrong. She left residue from the nails all over my hands but mostly the back from the acetone and nail goo.. I wanted to keep my nails and she broke 3 so they had to be cut back down short. I'm not happy at all with this trip. Her name was Jenny. And I would have loved to have a drink of water or something but was never asked. Was this person new? I also didnt like that she was sick with allergies and rubbing snot everywhere. I give this a one star.. normally they are about 4 stars. Wish I felt relaxed and taken care of but this trip was a 100% miss!! ⚠wish I can add pictures. I'm not sure how but I have the sloppy...
