I went to this store to buy supplies and fill my propane tank to prepare for the hurricane, the old lady told me that she couldn't do it because there is a Thunderstorm 10 miles away and the static electricity in the air would be unsafe.. 🙄 Which is absolute nonsense.. she was just lazy and didn't want to do it.. and basically treating me like I was STUPID.. anyone who has passed 7th grade science Knows static electricity can not generate with 100% humidity. This employee needs to be replaced ASAP.. I have NEVER Been so Disrespected and discriminated and talked to with such impunity as this old woman did. It's obvious that she doesn't have any proper education. I WILL NEVER Shop at tractor supply again. Also.. I have talked to other people and she pulled that same lie with other people as well.. it would definitely be in your best interest as a business to replace her and re-train your Employees on proper customer service. And Not Treat your customers like they are stupid. I spent 45 years as a manager and customer service agent, and if this old woman is the best you can do.....
Read moreThe Lake Jackson, TX store closes at 8pm and I only had 8 minutes to get there. I decided in that split second (while driving) to call the store and ask if an employee could, please, go ahead and get the 2 things I so desperately needed and have them ready for me at the register, so I could just run in, pay, and go. That employee was Oscar (whom answered the phone AND went and gathered my items) and from the minute he answered the phone @7:50pm to the minute he checked me out (which was after 8pm closing time) OSCAR WAS VERY EAGER & HAPPY TO HELP ME!!!! Oscar is most definitely a valuable asset to Tractor Supply AND to the customer service industry as a whole! Continue to keep that customer service friendly attitude at the forefront every day, Oscar, you'll go far in life!
With much gratitude, Ms....
Read moreThis store is very run down and the employees have zero customer service skills. No smiles when you walk in, no offers to help. Very depressing place. The plants are always neglected and dying in the garden center much like the employees morale. The dogwash station is dirty and never has any product to use. They only have 1 station, so if you have more than 1 dog you have to sit in a rusty metal chair in the corner to wait your turn and hope and pray you dont need a tetanus shot after leaving. I always thought TCS was a wonderful place until I walked into this store. Do better TCS! Revamp your store, bring some light into it and give those employees a pizza party once in a while and a performance review...
