Ironlight — Attraction in Lake Oswego

I had a soft hold on a date and was told I would be given first right of refusal should another client be interested in the same date. I have the email communication I had with the event manager- the day I inquired about the date I said I would place a deposit that day yet was told not to worry about bringing a deposit in because again they would put a soft hold and should another client be interested in the date the event manager would reach out to me for a deposit at that time. This agreement was not honored and now I am searching for a new venue after learning this week the date I thought I had a hold on for May 2025 was given to another client. I only became aware of this because I was scheduled to tour the venue today and emailed the event manager earlier this week to confirm the time of the tour for today only to be told the tour had been cancelled because they are having a function at the event space today and then the event manager informed me that the date I thought I had a soft hold on was taken. If you are thinking about renting this venue put your deposit down right away. Do not trust the event manager will honor a soft hold or contact you at all. Poor communication and poor customer service. The event manager did apologize and offered me $1000 off my next event but after this experience I will not be giving them any future business so the offer means nothing. I hope no other client ever has to experience this...

All of our friends and family (most of whom were from Chicago and San Francisco) were blown away when they walked into the Ironlight venue! Arriving thru the industrial entry, they were expecting a warehouse setting. Instead, they were greeted by the gorgeous floor to high ceiling windows which framed Oregon's greenery, Mount Hood and the town of Lake Oswego. All during cocktail hour our guests could not stop taking pictures in all of the different areas. Even the bathrooms made great Instagram shots. Everyone was amazed by how big and beautiful the space was and with the sliding glass doors opened it was almost twice the size. The deck was large enough for several couches, cocktail tables and umbrellas for shade from the summer sun. When the sun did set, the twinkly lights my daughter wanted added that romantic-festive feeling she imagined. We had the most wonderful and beautiful experience and event at Ironlight. We rented the space for a graduation of a program at Providence with 160 guests. We used the space for about 5 hrs which included doing a program session with snacks, a lunch (we used Elephants and were extremely pleased) and graduation ceremony. Jenna and Paul were amazing to work with and were very available and hands on. The space was absolutely beautiful and things I was concerned about on the front end (like parking), all worked out perfectly! The restrooms were close, clean and never too crowded during our breaks and everything about the space made our event feel special! We will definitely plan to use again...
