Day Spa Nails — Attraction in Lake Worth

Sandy was my nail tech today. I'd like to say she was nice, but the o lu time she really spoke to me was when I was fixing to leave. When my daughter and I walked in, I told them that I wanted dipped, and the girl that helps the front said "oh" like I said something bad. I asked if that was a problem, and she said no, so I picked out 2 colors. When she came back by, she said, "So you want gel not dipped?" I said no, then she said "then you can't use that color." Okay..... cool, I picked another one and went to sit next to my daughter, where I was instructed to go. Sandy came over and instantly started putting tips on me. She asked how long and what shape, so I showed her 2 pictures. I told her I really wanted the 1st one, but was okay with the 2nd if she couldn't do the first. She said, "Okay, 2nd one." She got upset with me when I asked for my middle finger to be shorter, rolled her eyes, and went off to the man doing my daughters nails. She started doing the clear dip, and so I left it alone. Then she got up and walked away. When she came back, she set all the stuff down for acrylic and had another woman with her. The other woman started to get ready to do acrylic. I told her I asked for dipped, and she told me no, that it wouldn't work because I wanted them to long. I get short stiletto, so ummm, okay,.... and she started slapping it on before I could say anything. She slapped it on, got up, and left. Sandy sat back down and started to file them. She had to leave my pinky until last because i turned white and almost passed out every time she tried to file it. I sat with my right pinky finger on fire for around 45 minutes while Sandy kept making comments and laughing every time I told her that it hurt. I finally told them that they had to get it off of my finger before i passed out. It hurt so bad I was on the verge of throwing up. They finally took me serious and got the other woman back over there to get it off. The other woman started criticizing the lack of shape and lack of smoothness. She sat fixing them until the pinky nail was off. Then Sandy came back to do dip on the pinky. She was clearly not trained in the dip system. When she finally did the clear coat I had to stop her because she was trying to seal it with a big clomp of powder still in the center of the nail. I just told her to leave it, I'd fix it at home. I was over my experience at this shop. When I got to the counter the girl told me they gave me a $7 discount for my trouble. When I saw the receipt, I did not get a discount at all. They charged me for a dipped set instead of acrylic, which is $7 more expensive. I told her that only one nail was dipped, and she said that it didn't matter because one was still dipped. I'll never ever be back, and I will not be referring them to anyone. I've had some rough nail experiences, but this one definitely made a quick climb to the top...

This place is awful! I recently came in with my mom and little sister first a worker yelled at my sister for holding the nail polish they told her to grab then i got seated away from my mom and sister mind you im only 10 so i was nervous my mom told them my sister was getting a pedicure and a manicure and didnt get her pedicure and my mom told them she got ignored and also made my sister get her nails done last from all of us during my pedicure i got FORCED to drink water but i wasnt thirsy later on i got passed on to a other guy who was the rudest i had forgot something on my chair i went to get it my mom noticed he rolled his eyes like bye it your job were paying he ruffly would pull my arms/fingers and it hurt i did tell him he didnt really care when he was filling my nails i got cut horribly had a bunch of random skin sticking up and forgot to mention when he was doing my nails they fell off had to re glue them on like 4 nails what?! snatched my phone and moved it iys my phone why are you touching it defiantly no tip he raised his voice at me telling me to show him the inspo picture for the design i was confused because he was speaking really muffled tjen he says “SO YOU WANT IT OR NOT“ and i was fed up and said no for sure ready to leave my mom will be telling the manager and for sure never get your nails done here people and it was the 2 guys sitting next to each other one with a black mask that didnt fit him and the other with probaly a fake gold chain this was 7-2-2024 and when we walked did not get treated well awful and my mom was upset with her thumb nails they left them extremely long employees also very rude not letting us do what we originally came in for also, my mom came in the day before to get her self a pedicure because she had forgotten her wallet at home so she asked the employee If they would have the same color she wanted and she asked that like one hour before they were closing and they said yes they were and when we came in, they told us they have never had that color before. It made her a little bit upset, but didn’t say anything. And we have been here before, and never have received this...

I’ve gone to this nail salon for several years and never really had an issue like this one! I went in to get a fresh set and pedicure! I got there at 1:30pm and I was sat down immediately after picking a color and a lady started on my pedicure. She did everything except paint my toes then packed her stuff and left without a word. I proceeded to wait for 30 min while the girl at the front helped me find a different color because they couldn’t find the color I chose at first. Then someone finally comes to continue my nails she finishes my pedicure and starts on my nails. By then it’s 3pm she does an amazing job with the shape I asked her how much they would charge for 3 designs from a picture that I attached. They charged me $70 for the nails total. I could tell the lady was struggling to do the design and by then I was irritated bc of how long I had been there. Finally she finished at 5pm!!! But the designs look horrible and not at all like the picture. However I was so overstimulated I just wanted to leave I asked the manager if they could deduct what they were charging me for the design on my thumbs because I hated them. They took off $5 for it I didn’t wanna argue so I left with how my nails looked. I went in the next day and asked if they could please fix my designs they look nothing like the picture and the manager was upset because I asked her to redo them. We went back and forth for a little bit and she basically made it seem like “ I wouldn’t be satisfied with anything” so she didn’t want to redo my designs but offered to paint all my nails purple and refund me $10 from the other 2 designs I payed for the day before. At that point I just wanted the designs off. It was a horrible experience and felt so misunderstood anyone can see that the nail artist clearly messed up and they didn’t own up to any of that and instead made me sound crazy for complaining and wanting them fixed.
