Scout & Tag — Attraction in Lakeland

A shopping trip in downtown Lakeland is not complete without a stop at Scout & Tag! You know those stores/ boutiques that are so fun and charismatic that it’s super fun to even just walk through, look at everything and not even spend money? This is that place.

You can find many a great treasure here. There’s several rooms, in the back so it’s much bigger than it looks from the outside- make sure you don’t miss anything!

There’s candles and beeswax, plants and pots and garden decor. You can get adorable Lakeland themed pillows, kitchenware and other odds and ends as well as really artsy posters. In the back hallway there is art from local artists depicting different landmarks in Lakeland and Polk county- in case you wanted to grab a little piece of home or show it to someone else!

The other side boasts wonderful smelling soaps, cleaning supplies and hand washes. You can get Lakeland tee shirts and sweatshirts, unique kids games and temporary tattoos and puzzles and some other fun and random things. There’s more home decor to be found as well as jewelry and stickers. You can truly find a well rounded set of staples at Scout & Tag- maybe the only thing missing is a good bathroom.

It’s even more perfect if you stop at the downtown Farmers Market Saturday morning then pop into S&T right along the same road when you’re needing some ac (Florida probs). Staff are really nice however the products I have purchased on 3 separate occasions have needed to be exchanged or returned. I purchased a Pura and it wouldn’t even turn on I have 2 others and know how to use them. Had to return and exchange. Then purchased Juliet has a gun room spray for a gift and they complained it smells like pure alcohol. Took it back to exchange and the other bottle they had smelled the same as well. Paying 60$ for a room spray you expect quality. Lastly, purchased Annie Sloan chalk paint and after mixing and stirring for over 10 minutes, it wasn’t the same I believe it was a very old stock but again 3/3 visits and purchases when I have shelled out 400$ in total I feel like 150$ was wasted. Mahar was so sweet and really went above and beyond to make her customers feel special and cared for. Great product recommendations too. I love the ambience and the natural skin care products. The store is so beautiful and they truly care about their customers. It feels so welcoming like coming home going into the shop. I love the 🇹🇷Turkish towls, omg soo soft and perfect for baths or for the beach or even for babies. ❤ They have soo many products and all natural skin care as well as soaps and kitchen products.
