Been a vendor here for 5 years and a loyal customer several years before vending. I love it so much here both as a vendor and a customer! This mall is very large and diverse in styles and eras which I love. No one booth looks like another.
The owners and staff are very friendly and are superb at creating a family like atmosphere. You can tell by the happy vendors that this is a spectacular mall to be in.
We have a ton of great antique malls in the Pacific Northwest but this one remains my favorite not just because I vend here, but also because it is unique and different from any other mall I have been to. Many of the booths are so large they feel like their own store within the mall. And don’t even get me started on the variety of clothes, shoes, and accessories! Not only can you find antique and vintage pieces for your collection, but there are also a ton of hard to find modern styles and pieces as well. If you don’t have this mall on your map, you are totally missing out! The variety...
Read moreThis antique mall on South Tacoma Way is across the street from the B&I. It's huge - but today's visit was really bad....my shopping partner & I were surprised at how much it's changed since we visited a year ago.
Many of the quality stalls have moved on. Many of those that have quality items are ridiculously overpriced. I was shocked at how messy lots of the stalls were - sloppy, undusted. There were quite a few stalls with new merchandise - which I'm not totally against (I know there are bills to pay) - but when things are so mediocre in the first place I'm not cutting a lot of slack.
Staff did not check with us to open cases - they are not checking the floor. I felt badly for the merchants I saw because they were friendlier and more helpful than the mall employees.
I recommend the Tacoma Antique Mall (actually in Fife), Antique Row downtown or going to Olympia if you are looking for good stuff. Sadly, S Tacoma Antique Mall has...
Read moreThis place is amazing, I spent about 2-3 hours with my husband looking around. They have so many cool things here. Unfortunately they didn't have many vintage halloween things or halloween items but regardless they have spooky looking dolls. They have so many sections that for sure you'll find something to take home. The workers there are very friendly. There are restrooms for customers to use and they have a little snack store incase you want a quick snack. Some areas I here are a tight fit so keep that in mind, if you are a bigger person some of the sections have very small isle to walk through so I wouldn't recommend trying to get through only because there a huge chance that you'll bump into something and will most likely break it. Other than thatI would definitely recommend coming here if you're visiting...
